Am a British-Bangladeshi. Bangladeshis are extremely friendly, humble, kind, helping and they take you in. You aint only blackman in DESH. There’s hundreds of Nigerian and African footballers play in Bangladesh football league and live in Dhaka so it’s kind of normal for Bangladesh lis to see blackman. Enjoy your time in Bangladesh.
The amount of confidence this man has is....fucking unreal. I come from Bangladesh and up until now watching your videos it didn't really click for me. Around the 7:00 mark, the way you walk and the confidence you exude as you speak to the camera surrounded by all this. Shit man, more confidence then most Bengalis' walking out and about there. Strive to be like this man.
in 1971 when Bangladesh was under Pakistan there was a massive genocide in Bangladesh named Operation Searchlight as the Pakistan government began a military crackdown to suppress Bengali calls for self-determination. started as killing of all Hindus, after some time they were killing everyone. arms and ammunition were provided by USA. 3 million bangladeshis were killed and 400000 women were brutalized by Pak army in 9 months until India intervened. by then more than 10 million refugees Bangladeshi refugees came to India. India then one of the poorest country in the world started giving food and shelter to Bangladeshi refugees and military training to Bangladeshi freedom fighters. this angered USA and they ordered India to stay away. but then Pakistan attacked 11 of India's airfields. which gave them India opportunity to defend itself and start war against Pakistan to free Bangladesh. this is the first time in history a country was fighting for other country's freedom. outraged by India’s reaction USA deployed their 75000 ton 7 fleet in the Bay of Bengal. it was the world's largest nuclear powered warship. on other side India had British ships in the Arabian Sea. so while Brit's about to target India's Western coast, Eastern India was in America's target. then Indian was not a nuclear Nation and US President Richard Nixon planned to nuke India according to American newspaper New York Times. then Soviet Union with its navy power came to rescue India and positioned itself between India and American warship in Bay of Bengal. This made Brits and Americans back out. India then went ahead, circled in Pakistan army in Bangladesh and made 93000 strong Pak army surrender in less than 2 weeks biggest military surrender since WW2. as a result Bangladesh became a free country.

Brother, you’re not speaking Bangla, you’re speaking Hindi 🤣 Also, in Bangla it’s “Chaa” not chai. And chai tea means tea tea 😂 so just say chaa Also, in Bangla, it’s “koto taka?” (How much money/how much does it cost?) I hope this helps ❤ Please let me know if you have any questions of how to say a specific thing in Bangla 😛♥️♥️
😂😂I cant wait thanks alot brother showing this since i will live ther as a black woman i was lil wondering ...really now m so happy 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤😢happy with tear on my face hmmmm
10 taka is like 6p bro..Carry small denomination of notes as everyhring on the street is relatively cheap in Bangladesh..Most of these places struggle to give you chamge and will have to run to ktger shops/vendors to get change..One thing i can assure you about Bangladesh is you are very less likely to get scammed or finessed by street vendors unlike our neighbouring country..The only people that will try overcharge you is the vendors in the shopping malls etc..An in Bangladesh "Mama" means maternal Uncle and "Sasa" means Paternal Uncle! Mum is Amma and Dad is Baba!
Hi Blackman Da Traveller, thank for another fun and interesting video. One question about your adventures in Dhaka, did you find that there were a lot of mosquitoes all over the place?
Tea was like 7 pence aka £0.07, dirt cheap for anyone from UK For comparison you can buy tea here from a Chai Wala for £2.50 in UK, which you can make at home for £0.35 per 300ml. so it would be cheaper and faster to make it at home than to go and buy it, and you would be able to make chai for 7 people for the same price and less time. All you need is milk, water, tea bags, sugar, some miscellaneous spices like cardamom, ginger, cinamon, or get a powder. Honestly it's good they gave you Sweet Naan, if that is what they gave, because you would have had plain rice and naan with just one curry. Sweet Naan is so good, one of my favourite sweet foods.
Salaamalaikum, your calling your self black man,but the entire Bangladesh is a black man country, your brave and doing very well, God bless you and have a safe return to UK
Brother you meant to mix the curry with rice. If you want just rice, ask for chicken or meat biryani with vegetable curry or lentils (the yellow soup).
12:09 the guy in the back wanted to rip you off good smh. He said 200 something taka but the owner was an upstanding man and gave you the real price which was 70 taka.
Bangladesh is amazing from the perspective of the world and different interaction with the people in the country but bro I got to say man!! there was some hairs on your chicken. 🤣🤣🤣😂
Will be nice if you can upgrade your camera, it seems to be fuzzy most of the time ( due to the humidity), I know everyone has their own budgeting, but it will make your content more nice and reach out to wider audiences
Bro any time you in South Asia and have curries always mix the curry with rice or nan than eat else you will find it very spicy but if you mix it you will not find it so spicy... that's the trick any curry chicken, beef , or fish... Unless it's a grill than you can have on its own 😊 And whe you have paan/butylene nut have the plain ones may be a touch of slight sweet staff with it..always two em no zorda and no Chuna..
My brother with a Ugandan mom and Tanzania father stranded in Bangladesh 😅. Njagade vibe yo. Kulabira Cape Town for the first time. I loved the way you interacted with those Bangladesh 😂
Bangladesh have a blackman from Nigeria, Africa. Kingsley Eleta who became Bangladeshi citizen from Nigeria to play for Bangladesh national football team.
Bro you are just walking around aimlessly in the middle of some nondescript place. ..!! Try going to specific places of interest with a destination or a major landmark in mind; that way you can explore the main subject matter as well as show any interesting random things you notice along the way rather than capturing just basic mundane streetscape..!!
It's so lovely how they put their hands on their hearts after a handshake, never will happen in the UK.
I agree
or on chest ;)
btw its common in south asia or indian subcontinent

Most Bangladeshi locals dont understand and speak hindi. You should speak bangla. Bangladeshis are not Indians nor Pakistanis.
At 6:40 sec, the price of the paratha is 10 taka and the chicken is 100 taka. Probably, due to lack of understanding English they confused you.
