Johnny Depp should invest in making that village a hotel. He would make the money back and more. Not that he needs it, but it’s something for his kids after he’s gone perhaps. I don’t like the fact that people can afford anything like this though, especially while I live paycheck to paycheck doing things that require a significant amount of skill and effort. It’s sickening how the rest of the world lives compared to these people. People in America are starving, especially right now. There’s the rich and the poor, barely any in between. It’s madness. While these people (some of them) have worked hard for the wealth they have, I will never understand why you wouldn’t want to be the most loved person on the planet by doing good for others. If I were rich like that I would have so much fun going to a store and paying for groceries, meeting a great server at a restaurant and paying for a little home or student loans. Paying for an area to have clean water, or an impoverished area school to have books. Instead of a space penis. JS. The only thing I can figure is that they are so so out of touch they don’t understand the suffering of the world. They would rather have a purse that could buy someone a years groceries. They are smart, entertaining and hard working. I personally would rather be loved by millions. But the houses that have 30 bathrooms for 2 people are neat. I would give anything to be the PR reps for these people! And “giving to a charity” when the CEO of the charity makes 40 million…. Yeah, sorry but us poor folk see you.

I could get screaming deal on 5000 sq ft home but think is too big 😂. However, I find Canadian summers are too much heat. So I get the snow room in a house in a hot city.
The Vanderbilt mansion near Asheville, NC had a bookkeeper in an office to keep track of food, menus etc. it has three kitchens. If I remember correctly there is a high end desert kitchen, a regular one for standard cooking and not sure of the third but think it was for grilling, roasting, etc. It also had multiple laundry rooms. One for delicates, one with large pocket doors that slide in and out for sheets, etc. the botanical area on the main entrance had underground passages so water, soil, etc and the workers were out of view of the guests. The indoor pool had multiple dressing rooms. The women’s were outfitted with a silver brush, mirror, comb set. Of course the Biltmore was for guests, not a single family.
All of these homes are valued at (insert figures here) but what do they cost to own. How much is spent on they're upkeep, insurance, paint, water and the case of a storm wiping out out the whole lot, or fire or bomb blowing it and you away in one fell swoop, what does it cost to own a mansion worth that much?? Its far too much for me. I couldn't be given a house like these because I would find no value in owning it. It can't make momey (mostly) it except for the semi trailer can't be driven. In reality it can't do any more than provide a roof over your head and my home does that in spades and didn't cost 1% of these homes and it costs little to run thanks to the solar panels on the roof.
@@robdurfee6861 yes. To be honest with you and me I have never had the sort of money that the people who buy these homes have. So I don't know exactly what I would do.

If i had the money the Truly Rich people have, i would buy every piece of land that i could. I would buy so much, our government would probably have an issue with it. I would figure out before my death how to make sure it stayed forever private property or turned into a National Park or some kind of Nature Preserve.
I am embarrassed that I don't know how to live in one of these spacious, fancy, expensive homes. However, I feel comfortable living in a ~ 3,000 sqft well-built, self-sustaining home with a state-of-the-art security system on a 2-acre beach property.
I live on $300.00 a month!!! I can't imagine wasting that kind of money!! So many stars die penniless and homeless because they can't stop spending money!!!
If I had that much money, I would want to build. I have been dreaming about building a jewel of a house. No more than 3500 ft.². Three bedrooms, four baths. Exterior trim on windows would be stone, mullion windows. On the front. French Doors on the back, leading out to the pool. Slate peaked roof. Under floor heating. Central air. Central vacuum. Wolf Gas stove top, gas oven, gas washer. Marble tile in bathrooms and kitchen. Subzero refrigerator freezer. Italian style kitchen with farmhouse sink. Hardwood floors throughout the rest of the house covered with oriental rugs/carpet. That’s just for starters. Sigh.
I mean yeah these properties require alot of upkeep to maintain like people in this tread jave stated. But if you had enough money to get or build one to begin qith, homeowners insurance and staff salaries are nothing, and we would all at least try it out, dont lie.
Some stuff to make memories with my brats seems cool. But those extra bedrooms, no. That's so pointless.
No Question about it
I've done Charity work... For cancer folks. So many ppl r actually willing to give. I mean like average folks. And some ppl r so ready to take. I could not even afford a place to stay back then
If I had a house that big , it would be a home for homeless children
The thought is great. But the optics ehh. People would say your a rich cabal member trafficking children
Just why? Who needs all that?
Gosh some celebs have unusual tastes
#3 sounds like it's haunted. 👻 Let's do an investigation, shall we.
Skywalker ranch is not a home but a movie studio. George Lucus does not live there. He does work there.
Oh so elon musk was dishonest you say! Come on what about all the other celebrities I think they're hiding a little bit more Then is. Yes the most honest and the best of the bunch
We pay CEOs way, way too much.
Is that someone on a horse riding over Tiger Woods’ golf course? Horrors!
I could get screaming deal on 5000 sq ft home but think is too big 😂. However, I find Canadian summers are too much heat. So I get the snow room in a house in a hot city.
Some of the alarm and sensory advantages remind me of the WH security.
Cleopatra is WHITE Greek woman!
Why would u wait an island t live all by yourself?
My home is perfect!
Who needs 11 kitchens?

A glass house for Elon? Has he never heard the proverb?
How stunningly long do you keep your hair? I adore woman who keep it that way, describe it please?
The minute you ever won the Powerball you would change your tune I bet lol
@@robdurfee6861 yes. To be honest with you and me I have never had the sort of money that the people who buy these homes have. So I don't know exactly what I would do.

It's not hard to like Will Smitch? ... Have ya all forgotten how he casually strolled onto stage at the Academy Awards and SLAPPED Chris Rock? Cause I sure haven't, and that man is ruined for me. I can't stand looking at him. 👎
I feel the same. He should have been arrested. I didn't believe his sob story later for a minute. Smith sitting in that chair yelling at Chris Rock after the slap will be forever in my brain. My thoughts at the time were, Will Smith just showed everyone who he really is.
❤Johnny Depp village and Richard Branson Island look like the best place to get stuck at😂❤will smiths truck would be a cool way to travel by road too 😂.
I would buy it and sell it to give the money to the family of the victims of Leo’s slaves!
If i had the money the Truly Rich people have, i would buy every piece of land that i could. I would buy so much, our government would probably have an issue with it. I would figure out before my death how to make sure it stayed forever private property or turned into a National Park or some kind of Nature Preserve.
Nothing says Country Western architect than an Asian contractor.
I didn't see anything that impressed me in the least. Im just not into material things at all. I'm happy with my one bedroom apartment.😊
You never mentioned Dolly Parton,s Dollywood property in Tennesee

Creepy right
I feel like that dude would survive a damn zombie apocalypse. Or other random out breaks that make ppl kill like in the movies & stuffs
The ‘palace of Versailles’ was sold at a rock bottom price as the owner encountered financial difficulties
I am embarrassed that I don't know how to live in one of these spacious, fancy, expensive homes. However, I feel comfortable living in a ~ 3,000 sqft well-built, self-sustaining home with a state-of-the-art security system on a 2-acre beach property.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
So what? They have the money so why not spend it on a home? That’s their business.
I live on $300.00 a month!!! I can't imagine wasting that kind of money!! So many stars die penniless and homeless because they can't stop spending money!!!
#2 just goes to show you there are one or many in every part of the world that give no shits and spend right over the noses of those beneath them.
What rich people don't understand is that 1000.00 a month to a poor person would help them out of the poor house. They could help so many. Sad.
Being that rich, I think celebrities r more known and their houses don't look like some billionaires. Or really rich millionaires . Most average folks can't even put a face to rich folks like that. Too scared to what?
