The Modscape Cliffhouse is a render (CGI) from 2014. It is a concept design that was never built. It is likely just a marketing exercise for a theoretical project on government protected land. Pretty important distinction, especially when using it as the thumbnail for this video.
Probably a good thing-- I wouldn't trust "a series of steel pins" to keep that house from falling into the rocks below. Not on that flaky sandcastle of a cliff.
The Modscape Cliff house on the rock where is ocean around and under it looks really cool home, it would be nice to live place like that near of the sea. 🏢🌊
Greetings from Australia , Thank you for this video. Curious, I intend retiring/working much less in 5 years and keen to know best, how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments? I earn up to $180K per year, but nothing to show for it yet
There are a lot of people like this. Im 52 and just getting serious about retirement. Its sad because the time to get serious was 20 years ago or even younger.
For me, I'm quite lucky exposed to financial planning at early age, started work at 21 and invested to my 401k through my employer, going forward I purchased first home at 33, unfortunately got laid-off afterwards, amid 2020 covid-outbreak. At once, I hired an advisor to help stay afloat, and as of today, I'm only 25% short of achieving my 7-figure ballpark goal after subsequents investments.
My investment advisor is Laura Grace Abels, a renowned figure in portfolio diversity. I recommend researching her further on the web, she's well established with over two decades of experience in her line of work.
It cracks me up how people seem to forget that cliffs change shape regularly because pieces fall off, especially at the edge. Building anything at the edge of a cliff is just asking for trouble.
I don't know where you have been the last 10 years. but 2x6's have been the standard for a long time. 2X4's for interior walls.. The problem with computer research
The zero home is much like mine. I live on the coast in L.A. It is full solar, power wall and a converter on my Tesla. My utility bill is almost completely a water bill.
Versaille; absolutely stunning; now that's a Palace altho, no need f mountainous rooms in todays world when most of us 'peasants' struggle with the basics.
The 'zero' home is not impressive at all. I have a home built in the 1980's and it's total electric--no gas, no propane, no natural gas and no solar or wind. My monthly cost in total for electric, water/sewer, trash removal, hi speed internet service, satellite TV, landline telephone come to a monthly average of $290.00. I have a security system as well included in that total monthly average. I live in a cold climate with hot, muggy summers.
Woods House is nice but ive always loved/been fascinated by the insides of the White House ( not what it stands for but the building itself).. Personal fav is a Hobbit home tho( Frodos immaculate home, not this 1)
Although the Modscape Cliff house DOES NOT EXIST some of the renderings show it on The Great Ocean Road. The following video is of a house that DOES EXIST on a different part of The Great Ocean Road - the famous Pole House and it is, if not unusual, quite appealing. it clearly shows Mid Century Modern roots. ruclips.net/video/Iq_NVgm-Uqg/видео.html

Falling water will always be my favorite!

Home is the best place in the world where to be, home is there where heart is. 🏡❤

for someone who needs some catch-up, consider the 80/20 model. Needs and wants / Investments

The cliff house looked terrifying to go into. I would never be able to relax in that house. I wouldn’t trust those support posts in the cliff to hold.
Love from Melbourne Australia mate 🤜🤛♥️🇦🇺 Australia

This glass house is very small, not a mansion!
First and thank you another amazing video 😊

Bro, the Hobbit House though. Like, for real?!
Love it if it's anything like Biboas inside..

Bill Gates taking Washington State paranoia to the next level. Anyone that's from there or has lived there for awhile knows what I'm talking about.

Melanie how come they don't give a reason when they object? How come the judge told them not to?
