Spiegel was the name of a long-time fashion and homewares catalog here in the States. They were known for carrying finer brand (pricier) items than what you would find at other retail catalogs. Also unlike JCPenneys and Sears, Spiegel was strictly only a catalog and did not have physical retail stores. I had never noticed that on the packaging so I’m assuming Spiegel held the trademark to the Fashion Avenue name and Mattel paid them a license to share/use the ‘Fashion Avenue’ name.

Do you have any tips for removing glue from barbie bodies my Sister sat on a barbie head broke the plug off and then glued the head back now the barbie look like it has a double chin bc i cant remove the glue its a rare doll from 2010 and I love it dearly please help

OMG I remember cutting out those Barbie stamps, but I have no memory of what it did for me lol... I'll ask my older brother if he remembers :-)

Yes, Christie's from that era usually had a darker skintone but this one is quite unique in that she was more of Teresa's complexion
