The creation kit can't come sooner.
Its going to be bonkers when they release that. Even with hands tied behind their backs the modders have done an amazing job. Can't wait.
Agreed these are all pretty much pointless "mods" since most are just cosmetic changes
@robbailie5878 fr Bethesda and the people who made snow runners are the first devs that allow mods in their games on console and it's been a really good look on the community we have a few bad apples in the bunch but that's how it is

Mods are great but the devs for starfield just want modders to make the game good because they couldn’t game is mid asf nothing interesting at all story and side quests suck dick too
A quest where you crash-land on a planet infested with thousands of bugs and you have to battle your way to the nearest transport, something akin to Starship Troopers. Or maybe a quest where you have to survive an entire horde of terrormorphs.

Honestly the closest looking preset character is Riddick, whoever made it absolutely NAILED Vin Diesel's likeness
they somehow managed to get the clone helmets in despite nifskope not yet being adapted to Starfield yet. thats some big brain modder ingenuity fam.
Glad to see Starfield mods are on their way to being as varied and ridiculous as Skyrim's.
It'll be a while before I finally play because I need a better PC to properly enjoy it, but at least that means the mod community will be firmly established by the time I _do_ start.

Definitely want to have Halo armor and weapons both standalone and replacements.
Specifically the Mark 7, Mark 5[B], Rakshasa and Mirage armor sets.
Would be awesome to see sci fi versions of current day military kit.
Like how the first soldier mercenaries kind of look from the Freestar ranger quest line.
Overhauls for crafting, armor and weapon customization.
Right now base game crafting is a chore to do.
More "old earth" weapons with sci fi enhanced modernization versions like how they did with the 1911.

I may of found Starfield dull (thank god I tried it on gamepass) but I am curious to see where the modding scene for it goes.
I'd like to suggest a lesser-known new mod that I myself have been using: "Unlimited Storage (link HomeShip workbenches)".
Basically, what the mod does is it allows you to use your unlimited space safe in the Lodge and link it to various workbenches and the like. It also gives you options as to how freely you want to use it. From just being able to use workbenches, to being able to use whatever you put in your Lodge safe on your ship... or even access your Lodge safe anywhere if you so desire. And it's simple, all it requires is putting a file in your Starfield directory and using a couple of console commands. And whatever you put in your Lodge safe is completely safe and can never be reset or lost. For someone like me that was basically using their ship as a gigantic flying warehouse because outposts lack huge storage options and was getting up to 8,000+ cargo being used... This was really, really helpful. I just threw all my resources and crafting components in my Lodge safe and now I can access them at any workbench without having a gigantic warehouse for a ship.

There's a mod which gives the Ecliptic faction Mandalorian armor, and there are a couple mods to add Mando's gun sounds

So there’s a little scene in the game that leads me to believe they had a voiced protagonist. After I saw that scene it made me crave to see more of my character in dialogue options with spoken words and animations. Hopefully someone gives us that option

StarUI has to be the best mod out there currently. It was the first mod I got because the menus in the game are attrocious (how very Bethesda) and there is no way I will ever go back to playing without it. You couldnt even pay me to go back, it's just that essential! Also mods for starfield are insanely easy to install compared to OG Skyrim. Love it!

I wish there was better hair. Even for the npc's. Maybe then they all won't look like that one auntie with a karen wig. I checked a few days ago, and didn't see any. Bethesda has the worst hair in any game 😂

I find it pretty sad, and disappointing, that Starfield, needs to be backed up with mods in order to be at least good. Instead of being a good game, with mod support. I seen the vanilla gameplay of StarField, and its just disappointing....
Here's the problem, you've seen gameplay, but haven't played it, you see that's thep problem, you can't really look at a game from someone else's perspective, it's really disingenuous.
