A fellow Hard Target lover. I absolutely love that gun. Ever since i found one, i've been sticking to it as my primary sniper.

As an honorable mention - the Breach shotgun with the slug rounds. Stupid damage, stupid accuracy, and with the suppressor attached, good for sneak attack bonuses.
Always gunned for the Rapidshot in UC Distribution just to make a flak sniper shotty 😂
I love the Lawgiver for the Freestar Rangers. The super slow fire rate makes it feel like using an old lever gun.

My favorite sniper is actually a shotgun. If you mod up a breacher with slugs you get a gun with about 70 range, 12 shot magazine with 400+ phys damage. I carry a hard target for longer shots but the breacher takes out almost everything with one shot.

I have literally never seen the Hard Target. Must be pretty rare.
It is decently rare. I would say the XM211 pistol and the Old Earth Assault Rifle are the only weapons rarer than it.
I'm curious on why you would want muzzle barkes instead of taking advantage of the suppressor perks and sneak attacks for longer.

I love the Beowulf. Had a heavy sniper version in it pretty much every second i've been playing.
It is a very solid weapon.
The Lawgiver is extremely underpowered imo. Compared to an equivalent Hard Target, it does much less damage, fires much slower, less range, less accuracy, less zoom, and less mods. The only advantages it has over the Hard Target are 1 more bullet in the mag and it's lighter.
The Old Earth Hunting Rifle looks pretty cool, but i've never loved using it. Doesn't feel great.
I feel the same way. It just feels pretty weak when using it.
You get a hard target from commander Tuala when you join the vanguard... I'm on ng+3 and gotten one every time.

Does player level matter in how much damage these weapons have? Because my snipers are nowhere near those levels
Great vid but with a range of 34 for the magsniper not exactly a sniper thats more CQB. I have a Hard Target and wouldn't swap it for anything, coupled with a chameleon trait on a helmet makes you godly :)
It has a range of 34 because of One Inch Punch, normally it has much better range and still outclasses Hard Target in damage.
There's a version of the mag sniper that actually has 7 modifications for it instead of 6
Brah, one inch punch on a beo ? I’d kill for that as a burst shot shotgun. It would clear hallways like a god. I do have 2 hard targets. One with instigate and one one OIP, the first for classic sniping the other as a shotgun

Hard Target all day every day. You can put a silencer on it and you can not put one on the Mag. I have used both....and I can quietly one shot kill with the Hard Target...and try the same shot with a Mag...and it does not one shot...I do not know why...I have never been a "Number cruncher"...but I just know....Hard target...silencer...one shot...one kill..Mag...shoot..no instakill..and now everyone knows I am around. Just sayin. I am deep into this game and I love picking off everyone outside before I go inside..and Hard Target for the win...Once inside...Vaarun Rifle for the win.
Old earth rifle does not look like an AK its an excated copy of the VSS Vintorez and you don't do a lot of long range shots
Why do you have 50 Grenades
It is another Bethesda sin that in over 60 hours of gameplay I never found a Hard Target. So I did something I never done before, I used console commands and got me one. No guilt here, just pure killing joy. Screw Bethesda's stingy weapon RNG.
Those perks on your Legendarys are awful trash for snipers.

HT with right perk is best sniper there, steady, great scope and quiet, magnisniper is a rubbish gun that has only high fire power and rest of this gun is shit
