What I never understood is, if he was only two minutes away from the payphone, why did she call from the payphone instead of just driving by his location?
Omg I was thinking the same! I know in that time it wasn’t uncommon to use a pay phone but why not just drive to him! & I don’t understand why he didn’t get up and go to her the second she was explaining how uncomfortable & scared she was. I’m sure he has said that to himself thousands of times but seriously like I don’t get it.
Omg I thought I was the only one who thought this! Her actions leading up to the kidnapping make no sense at all! If she felt unsafe, why not just get in her car lock the doors and drive off?? And why would she talk to the creepy man and ask him if he needs to use the phone like?? Aren’t you scared of him :/// and why didn’t the bf drive to her as soon as he knew she was feeling unsafe? Something isn’t adding up..
This has always been the worst case of unfortunate timing I’ve ever heard. Not just in true crime, but in anything, ever. I can’t imagine living with the pain of being that close to saving her. TRULY, what are the chances?
The part that makes zero sense is them talking on the phone for 20 minutes when they could’ve been talking in person if she drove for further 2 minutes? Why even stop to use the pay phone if the person you need to speak to is literal 2 minutes away?! It’s so odd!
this is what i was wondering! us girls naturally need to look out for ourselves because it’s a cruel world and she was TWO minutes from him?? i just don’t get it. especially back then, it was so normal to show up at someone’s door to talk to them :(
wow. that's terrifying. i can't even imagine seeing your literal fiancee being driven away and not being able to catch to them and then they're just gone, forever.
This is the case I would request to be solved if I could only pick one. It stayed with me after hearing about it on Unsolved Mysteries over 10 years ago. The fact her boyfriend found and chased them but his car failed him hanted me so bad.
Referring to the mention of not locking your doors because no place is really safe, I have to say that as a woman listening to a lot of true crime I've learned that it's almost always the husband anyways.. So might just as well leave doors and windows open 😂
Not in the case of serial killers!!! I get shit from everyone in my life about locking my doors. There are MANY serial killers who simply went around and tried doors…
was not expecting he here kansas city.. i’ve lived about 30 minutes from it my whole life and used to hang out there in my early 20s every now and then 😧
I've heard this one before. it's devastates me every time. she and her unborn peanut deserve to never be forgotten so i will listen to it each time, still 🖤
I live in Warrensburg, and this case is absolutely heartbreaking. I moved here last year and I am so sad to learn that this happened here. Such a nice place to live.
it is so horrible hearing how close he was to saving her and so sad that it’s still unsolved. if cell phones had existed this case would’ve never happened because she never would’ve needed to stop to use the pay phone
I think the only reason they wouldn’t draw the beard is if they assumed he’d shave it? But even then, if anyone WOULD recognize this simple drawing they’d assume they knew a man who did have a beard?
Yea the guy chased after them for a little bit and his car ended up running out of gas and he couldn’t do anything except watch the tail lights disappear. Imagine the heartbreak poor guy and lady.
right and then when she takes a break, like any other human would, i be so sad bc she is the best true crime youtuber that has ever existed❤ she is amazing🎉
Maybe they drew him without the beard because they wanted people to recognize him if he shaved off his beard, I’ve heard of situations like that where people shave their beards off when people are after them just so that it could be like a disguise
I really hope her loved ones find some peace and their hearts will be ok. I can't imagine how painful this has been for them. I'm not sure this is something g they will ever fully heal from
I also have always thought of this case of one that's always in my thoughts and I rem and wonder about often. its so truly heartbreaking and what he went thru, I just shew idk how he was able to go on after that. just so awful and my heart aches for him and her family. I wish this would be solved so bad.
I think it was the finance. They didn’t really investigate based on what the family said!? & nothing came of the green truck & there were 1600 of them. You never know what someone would do. It was him.
i feel like maybe if, when she started having "icky" feelings about the situation at the beginning, if she fled THEN she would have been okay? maybe not. the beginning seemed suspicious.
So insane that she was just 2 minutes drive away from her fiance, but stood at a payphone at midnight for over 20 minutes to chat - why not stop by his house? Also, if she saw this suspicious guy, she could've hung up, jumped in her car amd drove away to her fiance's house letting him know to drive out or even come out and meet her
Something about Robby's story seems off, including the fact that he gave detailed information on the pickup, but apparently, not a license number. I don't know. The story just seems odd.
I don't believe at all that she was taken in a green truck. The details and description of it is so specific that a ton of people would know who it belonged to if it were real. Like theres no possible way that not a single person has never seen that green truck with that specific mural on it. So idk i dont think its real at all. It's some kind of cover up for sure.
Do they have dna from the phone? I hope they do and they use genealogy to solve this. This case has stuck with me since I was a small kid. I remember watching it on unsolved mysteries when it first aired.
But wouldn’t they have seen the skidmarks from both of the vehicles making the sharp turns and speeding off etc. so that would kind of prove that there was a car he was chasing
I'm sorry, the lead where the guy from A DIFFERENT COUNTRY said he saw Angela getting out of the EXACT TRUCK was dismissed?! Am I the only one who thinks that's totally crazy?
I still can't believe that nobody heard Angela screaming!! And why didn't the police put out an A.P.B. or B.O.L.O. for that pickup truck?? They could have caught this dirtbag who abducted her!!
I don't care if this is an reupload and I don't want to reheat unfounded rumours about her fiancee. I just wanted to remark how each of the murderers mentioned here looks like they all had parents who were closely related to each other, less than a year of basic education, at least four missing teeth, extremely limited mental capacity, severely underdeveloped self awareness, frontal lobe damage, bad breath and no idea what personal hygiene was.
This story always broke my heart 😢 he was so close to saving her. The whole scene sounded like something straight out of a horror movie.
Maybe because what he is saying isnt true?
@@mariemarie3999 ?
Do you have any proof of that? @@mariemarie3999
@@mariemarie3999I think they have evidence that confirms what he said if I'm remembering right.
@@shelceegraves1241 I'm not buying what he's selling
I thought I was going crazy until I realized you’ve covered this case already
Did she delete it or? I was also confused
Yeah once the guy in the truck pulled up and looked around with a flashlight I knew I’ve heard this before
This case had been covered b4 by various true crimers..
Exactly
@@samorachannel2093yes, including Bella. Anymore obvious statements you’d like to point out?
What I never understood is, if he was only two minutes away from the payphone, why did she call from the payphone instead of just driving by his location?
I found that odd too. Why wouldn't she just stop by his parents house if they were gonna talk for 20 minutes.
Same!!! She spent way longer at the pay phone talking to him than it would take to just drive to his place, it’s so odd.
Omg I was thinking the same! Me and Angela share a birthday, may she rest in peace and have her killer come to justice, randomly clicked on this and now I’m just invested.

I honestly saw your video popped up on a Saturday and I’ve been hooked to your channel ever since
Yay!! I love Bella’s channel!
Awe how heartbreaking- Robbie tried so hard to save her 😢
Here before the title is fixed 😂 love you Bella! 💕
Referring to the mention of not locking your doors because no place is really safe, I have to say that as a woman listening to a lot of true crime I've learned that it's almost always the husband anyways.. So might just as well leave doors and windows open 😂
Almost... but not always. Take care

i live closer to kansas city now. but when i was younger i lived closer to clinton. so this all just blows my mind
If he was only 2 mins away, I wish he would’ve gone to sit with her or came to pick her up instead of staying on the phone :(((((((((((
she said he was babysitting
Love love loving the time stamp chapters on your videos
I've heard this one before. it's devastates me every time. she and her unborn peanut deserve to never be forgotten so i will listen to it each time, still 🖤
I have been watching your videos for 2 years and you are still the only one I can watch do true crime😭 Love your videos💓💓

I don’t know how anyone didn’t recognise that truck? Between the broken fender and the fish window? Crazy and so so sad! 😢
This is creepy. My name is also Angela Marie...she was born in 1971 & I was born in 1981 so I can never forget this case. 😢
Yea the guy chased after them for a little bit and his car ended up running out of gas and he couldn’t do anything except watch the tail lights disappear. Imagine the heartbreak poor guy and lady.
Yall this is a reupload. She had uploaded this video before but there was some issue so she had to repost.
You’re spoiling us Bella with these uploads 🎉
right and then when she takes a break, like any other human would, i be so sad bc she is the best true crime youtuber that has ever existed❤ she is amazing🎉
but i do understand and want her to take breaks😂
Re-upload?
Im still gonna watch it again anyway!
When she mentioned the truck comment at 7:05 i was like.... i've heard this before lol
Bella had to reupload because of issues with the previous video

This is so tragic, these poor women, I hated having to use pay phones late at night especially if I was travelling
Thank you for these amazing videos

I’m watching because I can relate with a few people who I know now wouldn’t have helped with an abduction but I used to think they would be there ❤

please can you cover the story of the Sanderson twins and elderly couple murdered in Snaith UK!!
You have his girlfriend in the title twice!
What lip products are you using?! They look so good
Oh my gosh I’m feeling so bad for the guy
I really wish she would have either just went home to call him or since she was close to him, stop by, chat with him, then go home. 😢
I remember this case on unsolved mysteries 😢
Do they have dna from the phone? I hope they do and they use genealogy to solve this. This case has stuck with me since I was a small kid. I remember watching it on unsolved mysteries when it first aired.
Bella you are living in England now, could you do some British cases please 😊
Can you do a video on Strathfield Massacre that happened in Sydney!!??
I was 8 or 9 years old when this happened!
love you bella, please do a video on robert wone, i wanna know what you think abt it
New video, Love you Bella!
So damn sad 😢
Is this a re-upload??
But wouldn’t they have seen the skidmarks from both of the vehicles making the sharp turns and speeding off etc. so that would kind of prove that there was a car he was chasing
Why did that dork not immediately go to her the instant she called him if he were only 2 minutes away?
I think Jess rush is responsible. He fits her description of the man however no telling if he owns a green truck matching the one Robbie had seen
So sad
Hey Bella I think I know this case??? Did you not cover it before?
You put his girlfriend twice in the title
Did u post this again or am i having a deja vu 😳
Damien Nettles please!! Still missing and never solved
This is so sad
American here. I know what a pickup truck is, so what is a "truck-truck" lol?
i’m thinking like a semi truck? or commercial truck
Bella!! ❤❤
Where do you get your rare smiley energy from?????
Love u bella!
Is this a reupload

I still can't believe that nobody heard Angela screaming!! And why didn't the police put out an A.P.B. or B.O.L.O. for that pickup truck?? They could have caught this dirtbag who abducted her!!
Love you Bella!! 💜
You definitely covered this story already
The police and her boyfriend never found her or her body!
Isn’t this a repost?
