Good video. Thanks for the instruction. Can you tell me why a PCI-E 6pin is only rated for 75 Watts and a PCI-E 8pin is rated for 150 Watts? Every different one I have seen has the same connector pins and wires as their 8-pin counterpart, but both the 8pin and 6pin PCI-E connetors and cables have only 3 +12V connections. It makes no sense to me. Maybe I am missing something?

I love pc build. I have SN 28B Jaw not have CNC (No brand,blue color,8$) it can crimped ATX “female” terminal is good. But my SN28B (no brand)is can’t crimped ATX “male” terminal it very bad crimp.
I want know your iwiss SN28B jaw have CNC it can crimped ATX “male” terminal can or not??

Hey nice tutorial! I have a question. If i want to make a DC barrel 5.5x2.5mm to 6 pin pcie with 14 AWG cable to power pico psu, is it better for each pin to have their own cable and then wire them to 1, or have 1 cable split to 3 for the 12v and GND?
Does anybody know what size removal tool to use to pop them out? Thanks I’m looking

how long i can make my cables ?
Thanks for the video. Really helpful. I just have one question though. I'm building 6 pin ATX PCIE cables. I get that the 3 ones on the latch side are ground (black) and the 3 ones on the opposite side of the latch are power (red). But does it really matter which one is connected to each side? I am doing identical pinout wiring like: 1-to-1 2-to-2 3-to-3, etc. Or are they actually simmetric? Like 1-to-3, 2-to-2, 3-to-1?
Just as long as you have the ground and power going to correct side of the connector

The ATX pins link is for 18 gauge, not 16, they probably cannot accommodate the 16 gauge wire?
You need to make clear in the video title that this is for making PCIE *POWER* cables, and NOT signal cables.

Making them is easy but cheaper and easier to buy them

HI, do you know what is the official name of the metal pins (male/female)?, I thought they were Dupont Terminals but they look more bigger.

So based off of your video I assume it's possible to convert a Lian Li PW8 connector to a 12 pin connector for a NVIDIA 3070 GPU? Or am I missing something? Ty...
If you know what the pin out is for power and ground on the 12 pin, then it would be possible. also I think the pins our different size in those 12 pin connectors. So you would have to aquire the pins and use the connector from the pig tail that comes with FE cards
