This is really good! I love the pacing of it. I think it really captured the sense of just, everything going wrong in Volume 3, and ugh it's great. And it like, ramped up at the end!!!! and!!!! i'm raving.

Luc Neave In RWBY it was Pyrrha, in Fairy Tail it was Juvia (but she died in manga chapter 499 so I had a week not knowing if she would come back alive or anything so that week was sad) in Attack On Titan it's was the short haired girl that worked with Levi (forget her name XD) From Danganronpa season one Junko, from Danganronpa season two Peco. I'm skeptical of some of the editing, but overall you're doing absolutely fantastic. Your Glitter and Gold was perfect, and if you're new to this kind of production then I highly encourage you to keep going.
I'm glad you're (mostly) enjoying my videos even if my editing style isn't always to your taste. I have been editing the occasional vid here and there for years now but it's more in the last year (and especially that last few months) that I've put more time and effort into editing. I feel like this version is a whole different listening experience than the original, like I listened to Nirvana's by its tune too rather than the lyrics and then with this one I'm more focused on the words. There's definitely contrast between this and Glitter and Gold; the slower song left less beat to add sfx along with it. Regardless of this, the sounds that were added really fit with the song time/placement. Not to forget the video itself, the clips chosen were edited together really well, and gave an atmosphere that fit with the song. This reminded me of my RWBY obsession, and is definitely something that I'll be rewatching over and over. Love the song choice and everything about this (:

I definitely think choosing this cover suits RWBY better than the original would have. I love it!! It's chilling Personally, I think this video could have gone without the original sound effects (it's slower, quiter, and less intense imo), but it's amazing either way. Yeah it was harder balancing the sound effects with this song since it was quieter and I didn't want them to overpower the song itself so I did try to tone them down a lot and not use as much as in G&G. It probably could have worked without the sound effects at all, like you say, so I hope they weren't too distracting for you. In comparison to Glitter and Gold, I must admit that with this song that has an extremely slow tempo and dark atmosphere to it, the SFX from the show stand out a lot more rather than seamlessly blend in. It's definitely a completely different kind of AMV, but still very well made on its own accord! If your last AMV perfectly displayed the action and fun of the show - the physicality it carries - then this one seems a lot more about the emotions driving the story and characters. And you've done a terrific job of bringing so much of the show and character arcs together into one package. Maybe G&G sort of fits as a summary of Volumes 1-3, and this one feels more like a prelude to Volume 4... especially considering the change in tone :) I'd still say that the SFX-mixing fit a lot better in G&G and the quick cuts it had really added to that effect, but this was still an interesting experiment and I admire the effort you put into it! You certainly have variety and creativity in spades. Thanks for sharing your work with us! ^^
Yeah this is definitely a huge departure from Glitter and Gold with a focus on the darker and more emotional aspects of the show whereas with the last one I tried to represent RWBY as a whole. And the tempo is way slower - in fact I watched G&G after this one and the I felt like that one was at double speed, it seemed to be so fast paced. It was also a lot harder adding the SFX as the song was quieter and made it harder to blend in which may be why it stands out too much. Well I'm glad you found this one interesting even if it wasn't quite to your taste! And thank you once more for leaving another comment - it really is great to receive a comment where it's obvious a lot of thought and effort went into it!!
This song is good and its an AMV that is more centered to the sad moments of RWBY its so sad that happened, but it feels like its centered to the sadness in what happens in RWBY. I almost feel like crying.

Really loved this video, I think the voice timing is a little better in the "glitter and gold" vid but this one is more thematic. I guess what I mean by that is that "glitter and gold" feels like a music video using RWBY clips and this seems more like a promo vid for RWBY or telling a story to music if that makes sense. Both are really great though A+

So I have to say, I'm quite the snob when it comes to amvs, I rarely like any, cause I'm a jerk. But this an Glitter and Gold are absolutely stunning. Both have just perfect timing/editing. In Glitter and Gold you perfectly captured the fun, more upbeat side of RWBY, but in this one, you did the opposite and perfectly captured the harsh, more melancholy side. First time I've ever listened to this song by the lyrics rather than the tune-- it really works with rwby! fantastic job once again, love your work :)
I feel like this version is a whole different listening experience than the original, like I listened to Nirvana's by its tune too rather than the lyrics and then with this one I'm more focused on the words. Definitely a switch from the last RWBY video, but I like the fact you use the original sound FX with the music. And it isn't done out of place either.

There's definitely contrast between this and Glitter and Gold; the slower song left less beat to add sfx along with it. Regardless of this, the sounds that were added really fit with the song time/placement. Not to forget the video itself, the clips chosen were edited together really well, and gave an atmosphere that fit with the song.
This reminded me of my RWBY obsession, and is definitely something that I'll be rewatching over and over.

I'm relieved that you thought the SFX worked since it's a lot slower paced and quieter and I had some trouble getting the audio levels even - I was worried it might seem out of place but for the most part people seem to like it. I love the part where u show past memories in the background. I was a bit skeptical at first after coming from glitter and gold, but thus was good.

Yeah it was harder balancing the sound effects with this song since it was quieter and I didn't want them to overpower the song itself so I did try to tone them down a lot and not use as much as in G&G. It probably could have worked without the sound effects at all, like you say, so I hope they weren't too distracting for you. In comparison to Glitter and Gold, I must admit that with this song that has an extremely slow tempo and dark atmosphere to it, the SFX from the show stand out a lot more rather than seamlessly blend in. It's definitely a completely different kind of AMV, but still very well made on its own accord!
If your last AMV perfectly displayed the action and fun of the show - the physicality it carries - then this one seems a lot more about the emotions driving the story and characters. And you've done a terrific job of bringing so much of the show and character arcs together into one package.
Maybe G&G sort of fits as a summary of Volumes 1-3, and this one feels more like a prelude to Volume 4... especially considering the change in tone :)
I'd still say that the SFX-mixing fit a lot better in G&G and the quick cuts it had really added to that effect, but this was still an interesting experiment and I admire the effort you put into it! You certainly have variety and creativity in spades.

Yeah this is definitely a huge departure from Glitter and Gold with a focus on the darker and more emotional aspects of the show whereas with the last one I tried to represent RWBY as a whole. And the tempo is way slower - in fact I watched G&G after this one and the I felt like that one was at double speed, it seemed to be so fast paced. It was also a lot harder adding the SFX as the song was quieter and made it harder to blend in which may be why it stands out too much.
Well I'm glad you found this one interesting even if it wasn't quite to your taste! And thank you once more for leaving another comment - it really is great to receive a comment where it's obvious a lot of thought and effort went into it!!
This song is good and its an AMV that is more centered to the sad moments of RWBY its so sad that happened, but it feels like its centered to the sadness in what happens in RWBY. I almost feel like crying.

Really loved this video, I think the voice timing is a little better in the "glitter and gold" vid but this one is more thematic. I guess what I mean by that is that "glitter and gold" feels like a music video using RWBY clips and this seems more like a promo vid for RWBY or telling a story to music if that makes sense. Both are really great though A+

So I have to say, I'm quite the snob when it comes to amvs, I rarely like any, cause I'm a jerk. But this an Glitter and Gold are absolutely stunning. Both have just perfect timing/editing. In Glitter and Gold you perfectly captured the fun, more upbeat side of RWBY, but in this one, you did the opposite and perfectly captured the harsh, more melancholy side. I can't say enough about them, these are amazing and I hope you keep making more
