I don’t think there are any differences, I’m looking at my Rex and his pauldron looks exactly like the Venator one.

That difference is probably not real because on my new Y wing set version, I have the same pauldron that the old Rex has?

Why would you buy it for the mini figure
because the minifigure has always been a rare one, and the build isn’t particularly amazing
