Feels like disney wanted to kill of these characters and destroy anything we loved about them, so they could prop up their new generation. Unfortunately they just made poor choices with shallow characters, instead of using legends source material which would have worked so much better in my opinion

I feel like people are upset this scene isn’t in because they know it exists, because it’s not like we don’t get Luke mourning Han in the theatrical release. He walks through the Falcon, grabs the dice before reconnecting with R2. Good scene. Great movie.
