I like Superdoom! Batshit crazy arc. Probably my favorite storyline in DC. Vyndktvx was the true villain, Superdoom more of a weapon, but the idea was sick. A meta conceptual being that got stronger the more the literal readers of the comic wanted a ‘darker’ Superman. Fun fact, Vyndktvx is also the only character to beat the ‘story of Superman’, the idea Superman represents. Did it by simply drawing a line through Superman’s ‘S’. Went from ‘S’ a symbol of hope to ‘$’, retroactively turning Superman from a symbol of hope to a cash cow DC uses to make millions. Crazy ideas that arc. Imps are insane. ‘I made a wish which created the color red so I could hide your composite memories inside the red color of your cloak. We need to be fast though because the man trying to kill you has become my son and my wife is about to birth him 16 years ago. Rao (and his 3000 Kryptonian warriors) got solo’d by green lantern Hal. Funnily enough it’s what makes the Kryptonians submit to the lantern corps. If Hal didn’t time travel and beat up the entire Kryptonian army + a Kryptonian god on accident then krypton probably wouldn’t have had its isolationist policy and would’ve been the star conquerors they’re so often portrayed as in other media.
