Your examples are spot on. I always direct my newbies and coworkers to you and your UTube channel. Thank you so much 🙏💙🙏
How do you get a doctor to understand your compensated blood gas? I had a patient last night they wanted NIV and then potentially intubation with a fully compensated blood gas. It was so frustrating and they caused her more anxiety because of all of that.
Great tutorial Joe. In Scotland, that patient would also be out playing bingo! Love it. Thank you as always, for putting theory into practical context.
thank you for always breaking it down, for those of us who struggle with ADHD, staying focused is always a task, but your videos are never boring and are always informative... class of 2024!

Being a student, it would be nice for you to put the normal ranges for everything in an abg. I know them already but for other people that do not know or need a reminder. KNOW your NORMALS!
I appreciate you so much! Thanks for all that you do. My semester is over, so now I can do some leisure reading. Any book suggestions for respiratory therapy students?

Sorry, pH 7.22, PCO2 58 and HCO3- 24 clashes with Henderson-Hasselbalch equation.
You're 100% correct. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment! GO BE GREAT!
what if co2 =66 high and hco3 - =16 low , ph is 7.1, what is the solution in this case?
