  • In this month's edition, we go out to the Central West of NSW to see Beyer-Garratt 6029 leaving from Lithgow and doing shuttle trips between Bathurst to Tarana during the October Labour Day Long Weekend and we head to Thirlmere to see 3016 doing shuttle trips to Buxton for the NSW Rail Museum.

I'd love to see a Garratt built in the United States. It would be a good engine for the narrow gauge lines of New England. I will talk to my local narrow gauge railway next season and propose a new build narrow gauge steam engine for their weekend services. I will also look into other designs as well in case they reject the Garratt.

Nicholas Fedirko - It got pulled down because someone reported it for violating YT’s guidelines despite the fact there are worse videos out there for kids to easily watch. I’m thinking of reuploading it here but right now it’s on my Dailymotion account, you’ll find it in my channel info.
