American world champion Noah Lyles ran a personal best of 9.81 seconds in the 100 meters Saturday in the final Diamond League meeting before the Paris Olympics.
Lyles, one of the biggest names in the sport at the moment, delivered in the final race of the day, clipping two hundredths off his best time in front of a sellout crowd of 60,000, easily the largest on the Diamond League circuit.
South African Akani Simbine took second in 9.86 while Letsile Tebogo of Botswana was third in 9.88 as the first five broke 10 seconds.

We love kishane bt let's hope he stays healthy bcz he's injury prone.
Plus we dont know if oblique can cope with pressure in a race. Remeber he came 4th a couple of times on the big stage because of pressue even though he's better than we placed before him. Noah shows he can cope under pressure. Based on how tings playing out, only Kishane seems to can beat noah bt not oblique at this stage.

Clit bait, 9.81-9.77= 0.04; that's a lifetime in a 100m race. This after taking time off to work on it. Mind you, this is a fast track; Bolt set the Olympic record 9.63 on this track in 2012, after 3 rounds of running. Lyles is nowhere near Usain Bolt. Kishane Thompson & Oblique Seville were both relax and easing down(9.77/9.82). Lyles knows the Jamaicans are not scared; he can't intimidate Oblique or Kishane.
