*Sprinkle Spangles* is one of the best tasting breakfast cereals ever made. When I was a teenager, I used to love eating bowls of it. We had such great cereals back in the day.
lol the sound cuts in the video sounds like the kid said 'butt full'. Sprinkle Spangles were definitely one of my nostalgic cereals. No one i talk to remembers them, but they were cereously addicting.

back when I was a kid. they used to send me those samples in the mail of cereal from time to time. one of them being sprinkle Spangles another being Pop Tart cereal and another one I can't seem to recall but I remember it tasted pretty bad.

I auditioned for the job in the 90s after being submitted by my agent at the time and was offered the job and recorded the spots at sachi and sachi which was one of the largest ad agencies in ny. no one would know it wasn't Dom, because typically no one knows who the voicers are because that is not given, so one only assumes it was... but yes that's me. was sad when they dropped the cereal because I would have had a gig for a very long time. kinda like tony the tiger voice actor. you can Google my name. I've been in the business for 30 yrs.

Us Canadian kids missed out on so many cereals since it wasn't economical to produce boxes with French and English language for a population smaller than that of California's. Real shame.

Dunkaroos is just Birthday Cake Cookie Crisp. Not exactly the same recipe as Sprinkle Spangles. I’d say Sprinkled Donut Crunch was closer to it then Dunkaroos. But still nice to have a similar cereal on the shelves.

Nope 1996. Last on the Shelfs was in May 1997. That's the last time I saw it. General Mills threw Mass Amounts of Cash and Stock on Frosted Cheerios. That's why Spangles was discontinued.
Another fine video! I remember eating SS. SDC does taste like SS but with a vanilla frosted donut flavor. Both cereals are made with corn which is also why they are similar.
***** lol I'm telling you they were. like you said they dissolved faster in the milk. but it wasn't a total loss because I scarfed mine down so fast that it didn't suffer getting all soggy. the taste was just unbelievable.
I just discovered the Cap'n Crunch Sprinkled Donut cereal tonight at the store. My first thought was Sprinkle Spangles of my childhood!! So excited!
This Cereal deserves a return.

the Genie wasn't dom DeLuise, it was actually me, Wayne Pretlow. I was bummed when the Genie was no longer used.
