i've been disappointed by many mediocre band comebacks, and i'm so, SO glad that this isn't one of them. if anything, Casey came back stronger.
from the gorgeous lyricism, to the beautiful melodies, and Tom coming in for the bridge. it's special. so very special. we're glad you're back, Casey!

I've never heard these guys before until this video. I just went and listened to The Funeral based on your comment and it is SO beautiful. I'm sure their whole discography is, but that was an excellent place to start.

: all their songs is my favourite. but, I don't know how to respond after they're getting back. because there's something to deal with my depression. I suffer alone about 8 years and find them in 2019 which is the years after their breakup. until now I don't know how to say I just like said 'thank you Casey', because they're the reason why I still alive ❤️✨

I had it in my head that I would never get to see them reunite since I just got into them within the last year. I'm so, so happy.
Casey are one of my favorite bands and always will be! What really struck me are the lyrics, you can tell they have grown a lot as a people and their perspectives on things have changed. Casey's old lyrics, they describe more so the feelings and struggles with depression, anxiety, failed relationships, suicidal thoughts and whatnot, but seeing the more positive aspect in these lyrics (this is just my interpretation), the acknowledgement of their growth, finding themselves again, a sense of acceptance/closure and a realization that there IS happiness to be found, while the lyrics are still undeniably Casey, is just amazing!!

Had never heard of Casey before the announcements that they were getting back together. Have spent the past week or so just spinning their albums, and now to hear this, I am so excited for the future. So much emotion, so many feels, and just amazing music. I love it
This reaction was absolutely joyful to witness 🥹 it’s a truly overwhelming song and I love the irregular structure, the mix is 🔥 too. So happy this song exists.
Was absolutely floored to see Casey got back together. These dude’s music means so much to me and knowing this is just the start of the comeback and there is more coming has me so fuckin excited. Outside of Sleep Token, I think Casey is the only other band with the ability to make me full blown weep from just the emotion carried by their songs.

Got into Casey last year just as my depression started getting really bad and man I’ve never listened to lyrics that resonate with me so strongly. I know Sleep and Fluorescents felt like a punch in the gut on first listen 🥲 I had no clue they were broken up until I was already completely obsessed and was devastated to find that out so I am over the moon now to have new Casey 🥺

Wow, I've slept on this band. "Yeah I'll check em out!" and then never getting around to it. 😂 This is my first time listening to Casey, and I'm not disappointed. This was heccin great. Loved the unclean section with the clean vocals over the top of it. Gorgeous section, fr. Thanks for making the video, I might've missed out on this band otherwise. Great reaction, as well. The excitement was contagious lol

I found this band through this track and they have since become one of my favorite bands. I love their whole discography and have been listening to them a shit ton. Very glad they’ve come back and I love their new record.
When I saw them on my release radar on Spotify my heart stopped. The best news ever.

Their farewell show in Chicago, which at the time was their first and going to be last ever US show, was so incredible. One of the best I've ever been to. There were some very last minute visa problems where the entire band except for Tom had to wait back in London for clearence to come to the states. So they were going to have US based friends of theirs as stand ins, but then it turned out that the rest of the band was able to get visa approval and on a plane to Chicago and to the venue with like an hour to spare. It obviously would not have been the same without the rest of the band there. They even brought out their friends that were going to play the show for a couple of songs.
This is such a great example of a band not having to drop the heaviness just because their lyrics are slightly more uplifting now.

Legit one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Incredible sound design overall, had all the best elements of different types of hardcore and shoegaze, I missed Casey so much!
Absolutely love this track, one of my favourites this year! Knew you were going to love it! So glad we have both the cleans and harsher vocals, both are superb! Definitely glad you did the video so more people can discover them, I only knew them because you mentioned them in the server and it was a great recommendation!

I know this isn’t the message of the song, but as an addict, the line “I’m jubilant in my undoing. They say it should hurt, but I don’t feel it.” Hit me to my core. This band means so much to me.

Loved your genuine reaction to this, and going off how emotional you got over some parts of the song, it seems you know what true pain is to have been struck so hard by those lyrics. They hit me hard too.
This song is one of the best pieces of lyric writing I've seen, and I adore the parallels they draw between suffering and relatability.

I can relate so much to your reaction. Just the sheer happiness of them being back. Even with your comments about your regret with not going to the farewell tour here in the U.S. I actually had tickets to the Chicago show and got sick so didn't go. I've regretted not pushing through that feeling and going anyways ever since they disbanded. If they come back to the U.S. this time around there is 0 chance I don't make it to one of the shows. Not going to let that opportunity slip again.
I heard these guys a few years ago they’re very good an good to see this band back to hope you drive into Our mirage eclipse they are a really really good band there from the UK an hope you react to Half Me new single to but Casey hasn’t lost anything kept there sound an style I heard some of there other songs before they took a break before coming back but this is a good soft song to hard close to the end an then go back in the chorus there it was good have heard a few other bands close to there style especially a band called nothing to but good to see one of your favorite bands of all time back
As someone who doesn’t know Casey, this was really good! I think you shared one awhile back and it didn’t pull me in for some reason but this one did
managed to grab tickets to their tour in january, feeling blessed that they are back
