I used your preset Heirloom One of yours on a recent family shoot. I also used Three, but I used mostly one. I love the results so far. The shoot was indoors so I haven't had a chance to use them on an outdoor shoot. Thanks for another video.
Nice video ! Thank you! Noticed some of the samples were shot at f2.2 and shutter speed at around 1/250 , I wondering how the subjects have no blurry parts since they were moving .
Glad you liked the video! These weren’t my images so I can’t remember which cameras/lenses were used, but as far as motion blur goes, 1/250 is going to be a fast enough speed to capture walking. The camera needs to be able to track focus well though, especially at 2.2 because that is such a narrow field of focus. I’m sure they were using 2.2 to add as much light into the lens due to the darker room. But they kept their shutter speed fast in order to capture those movements. I’d say you might get into motion issues when your shutter gets in the 1/30 and even 1/60 if they are quick. Try not to go below what the lens focal length is as a general rule of thumb. If you have a 30mm lens don’t go below 1/30. But with motion involved, I would bump it up probably 2x, so maybe 1/125. The one caveat is if you are using flash. The pop of flash will freeze the motion so you are able to use a little slower shutters. Hope that helps!
The algorithm got me here....6 minutes in I learned something new - sync develop settings. I had no idea you could do that. Been using LR for 8 years...haha
Hi! I would say that it will depend on the camera and how much noise is an issue for you. Some of the newer cameras are amazing with handling noise at high ISO. Another option if you are bothered by the noise is to try the ‘Denoise’ tool in Lightroom. That is a newer feature released this past year that is amazing! You can select a whole group of images and then click the Denoise button (under the Detail panel) and it will create new .dng raw files with the noise correction for all of the images you have selected. Just set it and walk away from your computer because it takes a while. Also be sure to Denoise as your first step before doing other editing. Hope this helps!
@@heirloom.presets Thank you ! yes i had a camera that had lots of noise after i passed the 2000 iso so i bought another camera that seems better with it, i try to use flash most of the time but sometimes in some places they dont allow it
Hi thanks for your comment :) This is a preset company channel, so I yes did create presets that assist in editing and that’s why I show them. I believe they are helpful to create a certain style while also using Lightroom efficiently. But you can do this manually of course. Just takes more time.
Thanks for your input! I agree I can find more variety. This just happened to be a what I could find of dark inside weddings that I was editing for my clients at the time. These were their clients for those weddings so I didn’t choose them. Also this is a preset company channel, so I did create presets that assist in editing and that’s why I show them. I believe they are helpful and help create a certain style :)
Let me know what is the most difficult for you when editing dark indoor ceremonies!

Awesome I’m so glad to hear! I’m sure they’ll shine on your outdoor images as well! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Yay I’m so glad! There is always something new to learn it seems like!
i notice that the photos were taken around 4000 iso, would that be problematic with noise ?

if you want to show something, don't use presets, nothing to see and don't have all the people the same, just saying
