I still play Genshin every now and then (only the Archon quests which are dogshit too) and I agree.
Mihoyo could get away with their lazy game design because it lacked competition and in turn any drive for innovation until WuWa came.

Yeah, I would rate that blizzard quality cinematic the animations look better than some anime! I hope they make this game good if not, they should just make an anime. I think they do good at that.
@@mrwhiskers1471 An anime alongside this game would be very cool. I like the premise and the style. Dunno if they could make a full anime of that quality, though. Maybe a film. Like, if you compare SAO's main series to the Ordinal Scale film. Ordinal Scale's quality is higher all the way through. So maybe that would be a good way to go if they considered branching out into that side of things.

Entertainment for regular Andies like us will prevail era of wokeness thanks to our Asian brothers and sisters, myself mostly consuming manga, anime, comic novels, live action series and games all mostly Asian... Because they are pure, with no real world politics and propaganda messages implemented in them(mostly, but even if, it's done gently and is well implemented into original story, doesn't change it). They care about and respect their audience, but are also usually extremely passionate about their art, where in western studios materialism and propaganda is all I see and hear.

Even the characters are not worth pulling or collecting primos for.
Will soon uninstall Genshin and only follow RUclips videos to get updates on the main story progress (can't stand the filler dialogues and pointless tasks in Archon quests while main meat of the story is like 5%).
He should check out the cbt to release changes, like how they took out a characters resonance (whatever its call the perks to get from dublicates) and add it to the characters base kit to make him better/complete off the bat

I'm sooooo excited for this game. I played Punishing Grey raven. The music was so fuckin good. And the game play was actually really good too. Made you feel like a baddie. Lots of events to unlock the SSS characters for free. I just stopped playing because it was to fast paced for me who works 2 jobs.
Gave off Riot cinematic vibes. Really epic, even if the game ends up being bad.

Im sorry I break your bubble, but companies explicitly makes things worse or more tedious trying to make players pay. They will literally develop systems around inciting players to pay and this will also affect you even if you don't wanna pay. Its not like they don't try to maximize earnings and make those mtxs trying to help the poor players that don't have enough time to play because they don't care about that.
It should matter for everyone if you don't want all games to be stupidly designed around microtransactions in the future.

I played 2 gacha games in my life and currently playing only 1 and only because I can play it on my phone. That is enough for me but when a game like Wuthering Waves comes around and being open world with great combat, it may be worth it to play.
The problem is that they require daily play and with other games and responsibilities, time is limited.
But it looks too good to not try out

Gacha games, especially this one, are usually F2P friendly. They need to be so they can attract more people and whales. As long as y'all save for what you want, you'll always get what you wanted but if y'all can't control your addiction problem and wanna pull for everything, that's your problem. Moreover, the daily gacha currency bonus in this game's much cheaper than the ff14 monthly subscription so y'all can definitely get what you wanted much easier. Lastly, most of the money made goes right into the game to make it even better with new areas, QOLs, characters, etc. Do some research before y'all wanna talk again 🤦

That's where the Asian monetization philosophy side of things kicks in, not everyone can afford a monthly sub to play a game at all, in a Gacha everyone can play and let whales cover the service costs for everyone.
Unless your stance is that Gacha is the absolute bane of the earth, the comparison is fair to make, but there is nuance.

What happened to completing challenges to unlock characters? Gachas are just unfinished game released at 10% and fund the rest of the game with boobs.
The game is completely free and its up to u whether u want to spent money on it or not. They have to make money somehow when still updating the game for new content also ik alot of gacha anime games are cash grab and only focuses and boobs and ass with boring gameplay but this one is diff not all playable char is female with giant asset
