Really enjoyed your reaction. I agree that the videos have all been well shot, and this one in particular has some great sequences. Aria staring down the camera, and Jonah's chill breath stand out. The song itself is great, and has some amazing harmonies. It creates a certain atmosphere. I feel this would be a good song if you took the masked ball scene from Labyrinth, but shot it in the goblins castle and with the M.C. Escher stairs.
I discovered Freeze The Fall ten months ago, and it has been interesting getting to watch them grow. I saw their original versions of Daughters of Witches, and Masquerade within a month of them posting the live videos, and now I get to see them putting out official music videos. Looking forward to seeing where they go next.
Incredible song. My favorite of the songs so far released from the Thrones EP. Harmonies are flipping insane. Those "Oh oh ohs" in the background are haunting.

Edit To me I hear and influence of Unleash the Archers in this, it’s the drums bass and guitar parts in it - maybe not as much shred but the overall sound……

yes!! we read that in our English Lit class, right after the Phantom of the Opera movie came out. there were other "mask" themed literature we covered, but that one in particular, I remember it so vividly, because it was right when that movie came out. also our high school had a masquerade themed dance that year 😂 it was a big thing 😂
