    Great vans. Especially the extra long wheel base with auto transmission

      Hi neilarmitage6632,
      Thankyou for watching I do appreciate it and it helps the channel.
      Yes they are great vans and have more room especially for people like me who are tall and solid built and the auto transmissions are nice and smooth.
      Thanks again.

    Toyota Hiace probably the best van you can buy in Australia there are plenty of them around and Australia Post are starting to get them and l have seen at least one Hiace Ambulance and of course there plenty of them around older ones 20 and 30 year old ones driving around l was a courier retired now l did own a 1990s liteace but l would defently consider one of these and l do like Toyotas infact l still have a 1997 hilux myself and uts a keeper

      Hi Les,
      Thanks for watching I really appreciate it and yes I do agree for reliability the Hiace is king and has always been for many many years and I found this one has more space so I am happy as the older one for me was a bit tight and not sure how good the older ones are in a crash. Yes Australia post do have a few now and I also have seen an Ambulance version and also camper setups as well so very versatile indeed. That's great you used to be a courier and also great you still have your Hilux. Yes definitely a keeper.
      Thanks again

      @@agautomotive l do agree the older Hiaces aren't that safe also my hilux l would not call safe it only has a seat belt probably score zero or below in an ANCAC rating and my liteace l would not consider safe when the crumple zone is your legs fortunately l never had any frontal collisions had a couple soft rear enders but its a risk you take don't have an accident but a motorcycle is much more dangerous l used ride back in the 1970s and 1980s would not ride a motorcycle today to many cars on the road

      @lesklower7281,
      Glad you didn't have any major accidents and yes both the hilux and the Hiace would be bad in an ancap rating. Yes a motorbike is not good at all in an accident and yes there are a lot more vehicles on the roads now.

      @@agautomotive l have a slightly better chance in my hilux with a frontal collision because of the distance of my legs to front of my hilux as for rear end collisions l have over 2 meters of aluminum tray to act as a crumple zone and l have had a couple rear enders in a mazda bravo l owned and written of two cars that ran up the back of my bravo gee it made a mess of them but not the bravo in both collisions l was able to drive away from the collisions

    • @agautomotive
      @agautomotive  11 месяцев назад

      @lesklower7281 yes that's true the hilux's are definitely much better in an accident with your legs and wow you have been very lucky in your time with accidents but lucky you have had a few vehicles that can stand up to the job when needed.

    What van was better between Staria load and the Hiace ?

    • @agautomotive
      @agautomotive  2 года назад +2

      Hi Shane,
      The Hiace had a bigger engine but the Staria load has more tech but smaller engine but I feel the Staria load has more space inside as well. Best thing to go and test drive them both to see which one suits your needs better.

    How much is this? Is it Euro6?

    • @agautomotive
      @agautomotive  2 года назад

      They are about 46k not including options. Not sure if it is a Euro 6. Do you mean the engine or series?
