I have a 2023 HiAce barn door and I love it. In 5 days, I'm sending it to be converted into a campervan, with bed, sink, desk, solar panels etc. Great vehicle. Most Toyota vehicles are bulletproof, and nothing goes wrong with them. I hope that is the same for this one, as I plan to put a LOT of km's on this one. Excellent review mate.
@@Paintress $AU56400. I asked for "sweeteners" (just a set of weather shields). I got hydro paint protection, street legal tints plus a dash cam front and back. (Vehicle less accessories etc and no dealer charges was $AU47510).
Super Long Wheelbase with low roof option is missing. Standard car parks and building garages are +-2.1 meters high. If you buy high roof van you have to pay for parking on the street and pray that you can open back door. If there is any parking available at all. It’s a BIG issue for city tradesmen and couriers.
I have a 2023 model and i hit a kangaroo at 60 kilometers an hour and expected the front end to be destroyed, but when i got out check i was stunned to find out it was unmarked, the only sign of impact was dirt rubbed off the bumper
Come on man. You have to give some stats to make a major claim like that. All the reviewers are saying the French made Peugot is underpowered with only 370NM of torque compared to Toyota at 450NM. When carrying 1tonne it is making a huge difference. The cargo area of the frog mobile is not as good either.
@@doctorboy5892 The Expert won commercial van of the year and for very good reason. It’s a brilliant van. The Hiace feels ancient in comparison. And the Pug is not underpowered at all, it’s a good engine with adequate torque and excellent economy. This isn’t even a major claim lol. In Europe the Expert is well loved, Aussies have their obsession with Toyota and they pay dearly for it. The smart money looks to the Euro vans.
I use Toyota HiAce LWB 2014 & SLWB 2017 (Champion model) for my courier business and crack a lotta kms. I always wanted one with barn doors.

How much did you pay for yours? I see they’re minimal like $52,000 online with no extras included

I was in the Wagga base hospital emergency department having a squrriel procedure on my dbird on Thursday for the day 6:43
Awesome van just ordered mine, great review
Good review mate! What area are you driving around there? Couldn’t pick it. Im in north west Sydney
Great review and FYI, there's absolutely no need for a right hand turn indicator when travelling straight through a roundabout!!!!
Hi Does it comes with Crew van and also barn door?
Hiace first had barn doors on the 1995 SBV models

LWB should be enough for you, the only big difference other than height is the extra 20cm width and 40cm length

Does it have lane departure and radar cruise?
Coming to USA?
How long are the wait times for everyone?
12 months
Hi where can you buy it under 50k? Thank you
No where, that's what a decent car is worth unless you're buying second hand. Mine cost 61k brand new with cargo cage and racks
@@Byzza22 And second hand very probably more.
Nice ❤🤍🦢 7:09
How about some freeway driving mate.
DCIV (Double Cab In Van) 6-seater is what the Hiace needs.

Peugeot Expert is cheaper, more economical, better towing, better payload, more practical and waaaaay better to drive

@@doctorboy5892 by the way the Expert is rebadged as a Toyota Proace
The smart money is not only based on purchase price. Try buying a good used Hiace diesel for under 30k. Best resale by far.
@@Squidley1972 No thanks. Peugeot Expert/Toyota Proace for me any day.
