The Dunedin Fine Art Center's wearable ART 18 Runway Show | Cindy Linville Fashion Designer

Cindy Linville is an artist living in Largo, FL. She enjoys painting, mixed media, photography and creating wearable art. She is fascinated by ordinary, discarded objects and enjoys taking things that people have cast aside and making something new, unique, and useful out of it. Whether she is taking photos, painting, or designing clothing, there are always elements of re-used and repurposed items involved. Part of this is at times from necessity, but most of the time it’s because she enjoys taking something simple that people think of as garbage and transforming it into something magical.
She would like to thank her friends Nicole and Heather for helping her pull this collection together and reminding her to take it one day at a time! She would also like to thank the wonderful crafting community at Bottom of the Bin Secondhand Art Supplies for their inspiration. Lastly, she would like to dedicate this collection to her Aunt Barbie who passed away recently. Barbie was one of her biggest fans and supporters and always encouraged her art. Cindy wouldn’t be the artist she is today without her Aunt who always bought her art supplies from yard sales as a child.
