I'm trying to get as much sailing in this season as possible, but since my last sail approx 2 weeks ago, the weather has been unseasonably windy. Tomorrow for instance there are predicted gusts of 50 knots, with high winds to continue for at least 7 more days.
The predicted wind speed and direction for today however were conducive to another attempt at going around the Eddystone Rock lighthouse, which stands approx 12nm South of Plymouth Breakwater. This distance meant it was quite a long day at about 7h30m mooring to mooring
This video shows the first part of the day, from my mooring in the Cattewater until stopping for lunch at the Eddystone. At the start it did look like I might have to abandon the trip and go for plan B, another trip up the Tamar.

It wasn't that bad in the end. No real rain.
