- Today is embarkation day on Disney Cruise Line as we set sail on the Disney Dream out of Civitavecchia near Rome! I'm bringing you a cabin tour of my deluxe verandah stateroom, showing you around the ship, and sharing our frustration with Disney IT as the Navigator App acts up. All in all a fabulous first day!

I’m here from Adam’s vlogs. I have to confess that I’m usually disappointed when Adam vlogs without Gary, but I am so ashamed to feel that way after following this cruise. You are an awesome vlogger, and I really enjoy your content! I think that we are similar travelers, and I actually really enjoyed the bit about using up inventory. So cool that you were an Operations manager in the past. I’ve gone back to grad school to get an MS in Operations Management. It’s just how my brain works. Super boring to everyone but us! Oh and I was always the kid obsessed with summer camp, and that’s exactly why I think I enjoy Disney vacations so much. It’s summer camp for adults.

What a great start to your cruise! I love that you guys were rolling with the no app and wi-fi issues. Things sometimes go wrong and you just have to make the best of it and not let it ruin the vacation vibe. I am looking forward to all your excursions, I bet they are amazing!! Oh how exciting! It's a wonderful location! Although to be aware you might occasionally hear noise from the pool deck. I never noticed it too late at night or too early in the morning, though. CONGRATULATIONS and have a wonderful trip!

I was also happy to see the liquid hand soap in the stateroom bathroom when we were on the Dream in April! Bar soap leaves my hands feeling like they have a film on them and it's just a thing for me. The 25th sailing gifts are awesome and we missed them by days. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your cruise vlogs!
YES to the pump soap! And Tammy, same. So much so that I keep some in our Owner's Locker at WDW for our hotel stays.

Jen, I have never seen one of your videos, but happened on this one when I saw Adam handsome little face. Wish I were with you two because I love Adam and his sense of humor and already like you too Jen. I have never been on a Disney Cruise, but I do love cruising and I do love Disney. I'm sailing on the Dream in two months time and I also booked a VGT fare (to save myself some money 😄) so it was good to hear how long it takes to get assigned a room. Thank you for always making fun and informative vlogs.
I've done it three times now and always save at least a thousand dollars so it's SUCH a good plan when it can work!

For myself, I would think a Disney cruise would be the star (never done one) and Europe would be the star, so I think it would be just a little too much for me....but then that is why videos like this are so fun, to see what I might not do myself!

Absolutely hate there’s no kettle in the cabin either…In the Uk all the ships have kettles in the cabins…

Thanks for the tuna tip, my last cruise I was thinking about it but went with the chicken instead at animators. Sounds like I made the right choice.
I mean, it's always possible they've improved it but . . not worth the chance. (although you could always get something else and now I feel bad for the tuna like maybe we should try . . and this is why I go to therapy.)
