To think, he wasn't picked up by any Super Rugby teams in 2017 or 2018, even though he played well in the Mitre 10 Cup those years. I was so surprised the NZ Sevens team never even picked him, because he was even a good player for the Waikato sevens side. He only got a chance with the Crusaders because Israel Dagg and Manasa Mataele were injured. Just shows great players can go to waste because of poor selections. If it wasn't for that incident happening in his personal life, he would have been playing for Connacht and probably Fiji in the 2019 world cup, or god forbid Ireland in the 2023 world cup.

Yeah he had a bad past but that is the past but I agree if he didn't get in trouble he would have been able to play for fiji hes a bolter of a player

With sevu reece just give him a chance. So what he had a bad past but that's the past and this I the future and he has proven himself to be worthy in the all blacks squad he deserves it. STOP criticizing for his past
