Sea rescue has brought us in so many times, I honestly can't count. To include a helicopter rescue, my dad friend tried to flip the fuel tank valve over, underway. Put his finger right into the motor 😂 I had to learn real quick how to use a compass, 12yrs old I could make back 80 miles off shore. Dock the boat, back the truck into the ramp. Pull the boat and drive home, even got pulled over once. I did nothing wrong, cop saw me driving and my dad sleeping. Once he realized where I drove from, almost home. He let us go...80s were awesome, no idea how I survived.

Studies show that removing both claws on stone crab increase mortality rates to near 50%. Single claw removal have a mortality rate of around 15% so that's a huge margin. Down in the keys we stone crab a lot thru out the season and as much as we want to take both claws on the real huge crabs we just don't do it because of the sky rocketing mortality it's not worth it to the fisheries to take that extra claw and have far more crabs die.

If this is the 34SV CATAMARAN the actual draft is only 20'' so a little over a foot and half.....I was thinking 36'' man I was just in a 50' boat that's draft was just about 36'' why is this one a cat AND so low.....anyways....f'n PHENOMENAL boat and way to live! I love living on the water. Also what I love even more is how hard Rob has gone over the years and just done amazing in life. literally killed it. People are like "oh he still tours to make that money" and he is like "uhhhh NAH BRUH I tour bc I love performing....I don need that money at all" Stone crab are not only in Florida. I have them in my "backyard" here South Carolina. They are delicious cold or hot like any other crab. They are def a different taste...they have a sweetness to them. Also there is a certain way you're supposed to harvest the claw b/c if done incorrectly "A stone crab can only re-grow a claw if the diaphragm at the body/claw joint is left intact"....for the tree huggers I'm SURE they were doing it perfectly fine
Boil in 2 quarts of sp ring water , add 4 table spoons crushed red pepper , 1/3 cup of olive oil , lots of garlic 10 cloves, 1/4 cup parsley ! Cook for 25 minutes after water is boiling, Beer! Try it ! You wont regret it! 👍😅 Enjoy!
I'm pretty sure that guy at the end is wrong. That doesn't look like a sail cat definitely looks like a channel cat. For him to say it doesn't hurt getting barbed by it as he did ask him in 10 minutes. The poison hurts so bad that your hand with no function correctly. It can ruin your day. I grew up on a canal in Florida and channel cats hurt. Sail cats are the good ones.
Be careful when it comes to removing crab legs it's different in every state for example....Florida is responsible for 98% of the stone crab harvest in the United States. Fishery restrictions allow removal of two claws from each crab as long as the claws are at least 7 cm long. South Carolina allows only one claw to be removed per crab.
