Great video. I'm hoping that with the P500 control update there will be an increased ATC capacity and a HSK63a spindle option. The M460v-5AX has 48 tools with a smaller footprint.
Some interesting details but so, so, so many more I wish you would have covered. Things like rail and block sizes, screw diameter and pitch, spindle design, chiller oil paths, etc. I know they are a package but I like to know the details of all the parts. Having some older VMCs I have learned a lot about them since I do my own repairs. One thought that hit me is that is a lot of feet for that size machine, it must be fun to level! Does the coolant not contact any fixed castings? That would make your coolant temp a little less important, but it is still flooding your parts.
Thank you for tuning in to take a peek inside the GENOS M560-V. We invite you to visit a showroom to further explore this machine with an Okuma expert. You can locate the distributor location closest to you here: www.okuma.com/distributors
Have 3 of them, absolutely terrible service!!!!!!! Spindle issues are so common in these machines. They can’t change bearings in the spindle, you have to change the whole spindle unit.
Great job Brandon. Very comprehensive video about what makes this machine the best value in the machine tool industry.
This is very very good. Need to get this out to EVERYONE
Now that you're back, you can help do that! Welcome home, man!!
Great video!
Great video. I with Okuma would make more in depth videos like this for other machines.
