Similar to what i do with the Orea large 30g to 32g (depending on taste) 5 pours of 100g 22/23 clicks on the comandante 95 °C This is my typical go to, and then adjust depending on taste and coffee. Super simple and easy
This is definitely what I will try with the Orea 2 cups. When you need to brew double in a 1 cup can be challenging. Thanks for sharing your method. how are the intervals between pours? You let the water drain completely between each pour?
Thanks Matteo this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for! Question. Why the Kalita paper rather than the OREA? Or will you be doing a separate video using OREA filter paper? Thanks.
I did Kalita paper because is the most common so far. I actually want to see if this method works for flat filter. You can try it as well and let's see what we can change.
@@matteofromtheswamps thanks @matteo. I followed your recipe precisely but using OREA paper. It wasn’t great to be honest. Lacked body and taste was dull. I’ll repeat using the Kalita and report back. Draw down time was on point so it wasn’t that
I followed this method using the Orea flat papers, and it was absolutely brilliant, I had it dialled in perfectly with the brew ending bang on when you said. Thank you for this I had been waiting for a 2 cup recipe!!
Hi Gregory, I suggest you the V3 2 cups. Because the wall angle is the same as the 1 cup so won't change the drainage, but also you can experiment with different brewing recipes because it's taller.

0.00 - 0.45 bloom and then 100g pours every 30sec. Seems to work well 👍
Nice! Orea is my favorite dripper but I always hesitate when brewing 2 cup.
Thank you for another clean video!
Thanks! I hope my method will be helpful!

Hi Matteo thank you for you review, can I use the same recipe with the Orea 2 cup or would you have another recommendation?
You can use this recipe with Orea 2 cups. A new recipe for the 2 cups is on the way!
@@matteofromtheswamps definitely interested in more large Orea 2 cup recipes. thank you.
@@samuelnagel922 it’s coming!
I usually only brew one cup at a time but I am going on a trip soon and will be bringing this along to try. Thank you.
Hi Matteo, I like to brew 22 to 23g coffee with 352g water for my daily brews. Would you recommend the small or large Orea V3 brewer?
Hi Gregory, I suggest you the V3 2 cups. Because the wall angle is the same as the 1 cup so won't change the drainage, but also you can experiment with different brewing recipes because it's taller.
Hi Matteo, is there a reason you choose the matte black Orea for your competitions?
Because I like matte black XD
Because his name is Matte O
Hi,is it a Orea V3 155 brewer? Thanks
Yes this is the small one. I recently published a video method/recipe with the big one too if you are look for that
@@matteofromtheswamps Can't seem to find it. Can you please link to the recipe for the bigger 185 Orea?

How would you brew this ratio on the 2 cup orea?
Hi Justin, In two hours that video it will be published. it's a method to brew with the two cup Orea,, either if you want to brew 1 cup or 2 cups
Hi M , is this a 1:16 Ratio ??
Hi Mindy, the ratio is 1:16.666666. The trick to see the ratio is total water (500) divided the coffee dose (30). It works for any recipes
