If Taiwan is part of China, why isn't China giving massive support for the earthquake?!

Of course! totaly agrees!! If Taiwan is part of China, why dont we see some chinese politic or chinese rescue team visit the earthquake zone?! And we just see many chineses warplanes disturbed Taiwan defense Army when we need help and not threat! Why dont we see Xi Jinping go to the earthquake affected zone?! Because Taiwan is not part of China, they said they want the unificate Taiwan was just a excuse to invade Taiwan!

Taiwan held up amazingly for the magnitude of this quake. While every loss of life is tragic, Turkey had a quake not to long ago and whole towns collapsed and many more people died. Shows that the building in Taiwan are of much better quality and more resilient.

When I lived there I was informed that the way they construct buildings is in preparation for earthquakes. There are so many small earthquakes regularly and the buildings literally sway but little damage is seen. I didn’t live there too long, so this is just what I was told.
@@robertmitchell6080There are many very old buildings in Turkey that easily collapse. Also many new buildings were not built to standards and Erdogan still allowed them by waiving the requirements. This is probably the reason why he lost the recent elections.
I am amazed that there isn't more damage to buildings and infrastructure. Prayers to the people of Taiwan!
