A Female #American #Goldfinch gathers nesting materials!
This female Goldfinch was seemingly uninterested in the ultra soft Alpaca Fur hanging in the ball below, but instead insisted on disassembling the twine that was holding up the Alpaca fur.
We were sitting on the back deck enjoying some wine and looked up to see this adorable girl make a couple of trips for more twine. Luckily we were able to grab the camera in time!
