This story brings back memories for me that I want to mention now. My son was gay and was never able to find that special someone, that he deserved, before he passed away several years ago. He had a huge crush on a guy that was straight and had a girlfriend. He told me that he would drive by his house sometimes wishing he could tell him how he felt and that broke my heart. He then found someone that started to treat him badly and so wasn't a good experience for him either. It saddens me so much that he never found that person that would love him more than anything and that he could feel the same. Thank you for your story and I hope for nothing but the best for you.
