Totally agree. Today my 1st run in the UB19 and my feet are happy campers. These shoes fit my narrow feet like pillows with just the right support. And the design around the achilles is exactly what I was hoping for. So happy to find a runner reviewing running shoes. Great video. Subscribed.
If anyone is thinking about getting this shoe, the prime knit will make your feet pretty warm quickly. I have several pairs of UltraBoost 4.0's and they too make my feet pretty warm and that's just from working out and lifting weights at the gym for less than an hour. I can't imagine even running in them how hot it will get. In the other hand, flyknit material is thinner and IMO is more breathable than prime knit. My feet has no issues of being warm when wearing any of my flyknit shoes.
Just pulled the trigger and invested in UB19 today. Love it so far. The new knit is less stretchy and lock your foot really well. The boost in the 19 is firmer than the 4.0 but is still soft and bounce. Kudos to the adidas running team.
@@chameleon083 I'd say it's more snug -- the upper for me isn't as stretchy as the previous versions. I'm unsure if they make wide versions, but if you're a EE+ I'd pass :-(
Almost 12 oz per shoe? Wow and you still don't notice the weight. I've used Ultraboost versions 1 through 4, but now I've switch to the React line. I prefer the Odyssey and Epic models due to their lighter weight.
SB has EVA b/w boost midsole & upper for stability, return - MUCH better performance esp for runners. Cushioning is not as soft so less prob of foot fatigue - a well known issue w/ Boost esp in UB model. Also check out adizero adios, boston models...g/luck
Could you compare it to shoes like Adidas Solar boost or Solar Glide. Those shoes seems to be Adidas answer to a chousinied long run stability shoe. But how does ultra boost differ from these pairs? Besides more love from the sneaker head community of course.
I went and bought a pair on the basis of this video. Sorry Thomas these are like freaking moon boots - way too heavy and warm. I think the Sketchers Go Run 7 is a way better shoe. The 20 percent boost does not give enough return for the 12 OZ I really felt that weight. It wont replace the Volmero 14 for my long runs. Its not even a good recovery shoe Dont know where to put it in my rotation. Maybe I will use it for tempo runs - it felt much better at 5 min a km than 6 min a km - but pretty much all my shoes are better than this £ 150 white elephant. I love the Boston; DPR and the Adios I was hoping for a ride like the original clifton 1.
I love my epic React that made me try the Vomero 14 that has react + full length zoom. But the Epic React is a so much better shoe..I keepet my V14 but it feels like I'm "forbidded " to supinate or pronate even a little. It is a unique strange feeling . And yeah, ER >>>ultraboost whatever number.
Salming Greyhound / Hovr Infinite coming soon to a theatre near you? I can barely find a decent RUclips review of the Hovr infinite online for some reason
I wasn't a fan of the infinite, I didn't want to put the miles on the shoes to give it a full review. We had our team review it on our website www.believeintherun.com/2019/03/08/under-armour-hovr-infinite-performance-review/
I love this shoe but for me atleast it suffers for tractions like its only meant for asphalt or pavement and that dont inclued wet surfaces. Sure the continental rubber brand last a bit longer but, they probably need to change the shape of this rubber in the next generation.
Lol Nike shoes are horrible. Take them on a strenuous hike and you will see what I mean. I’ve taken adidas clouds (cheap adidas shoes) and they are far more comfortable than any high end Nike shoes. I could barely walk for days and had blisters because I went hiking in Hawaii with Nike.
Ervin Ang true but it’s the ultimate test to see if it’s a good shoe. Good running shoes should be good for all conditions. It’s takes the most impact from all environments.
I, personally, like training in heavier, impact absorbing shoes, then wearing lighter shoes for race day. Sheds time off your run without you even noticing.

@ferari89 wide and flat
Getting these in two weeks! Thanks for the review -- the 19s felt great in the store.
I have a wide foot. Is it just as wide in the front?

@@kevburmaster7161 guess I'll go a half size up. Thanks for the information.
Aadidaaaas, one of the few pronouncing it correctly :‘D
Marc I know right!!
It's german, so he pronounces like a german 😁
I loved runnibg in the Adidas Energy Boost and Ultraboost up to 19. It was perfect for me as a daily trainer and as a race day shoe.
Is that blue or black?

The kinvara 10 is also ultra lightweight plus the offset is quite low
Are there any plans for an ST version of the UltraBoost 19?
how the shoe doing in 100 miles review or you still using the epic react more then this one?
Welcome Robbie! Hope you’re learning some of the throwing technique from the master there
Great review! What would say are the main differences between Ultraboost 19 and Solarboost?

6 ix too much softness can lead to foot fatigue? That explains a lot for me lol
Frank O combined w/ poor lockdown w/ UB. The 360PK upper in 2019 is an improvement but better stability & fit w/ other adidas/non-adidas models
The ultraboost 19 is so much clunckier to me, they ride about the same feel
GGori 99 Interesting. Prefer the stiffer boost composition of UB19 (vs. v1.0-3.0) but other models offer better roadfeel
Thank you for saying “on the foot” 👏
Nice review, but the sound is terrible.
good review

Why do you say those shoes are stability running shoes? Are they for who overpronates?
Wow!😱 UB19s > Epic Reacts?!?! That's saying something about this shoe. I believe the ERs were a favorite in this channel. Great job adidas!
I still love the Epic Reacts, but I like running in these UB19s a lot.
I BELIEVE 👽
Hey do you run with a tts fit on this boost19 or do you go 1/2 size up?
Jair Pena regular running shoe size.
Vomero 14 or Ultraboost 19?
Raul Villanueva I tried the V14, wasn't a fan.
Raul Villanueva Ultra boost is softer and bouncier.
Vomero 14 amazing
Vemore 14
im gettin heel bruises from the boost foam :/

After getting my Epic reacts, I haven’t ran in my Ultra Boosts since. They just feel so much heavier, sluggish and mushy compared to the Epic Reacts.

GhostDiver it might be preference, but I much prefer the ultra boosts

Hello,
Thank for the content.
Can you tell me what size you took compare to Nike running ? I find everything on the internet 😂
Regards
Same size
You casually run 10 (TEN) miles??? In 30° ???!!! Daaaang
Paul Dalengpan 30 Fahrenheit = -1 Celsius, so why not
Do you think they’ll last longer than the epic react?

The ub that i haf bottomed out pretty quick.havent had that problem with react
Can you send me one
No
Is it April 1st yet? 🤣
Killing me
#BoostisLife I love my Ultraboost 19s!!!!
Weight is a deal breaker for me.
I would normally agree.
I, personally, like training in heavier, impact absorbing shoes, then wearing lighter shoes for race day. Sheds time off your run without you even noticing.
Can't hear a thing you are saying. Sounds like you're on speakerphone.
wander if you realize that you're echoing a bit?
