Here was me thinking the name Adidas came from Adolf "Adi" Dassler who was one of the Dassler brothers the other one was call Rudolf Dassler who owned the Dassler Shoe Company that produced hand made running spikes for Jesse Owens for the Berlin Olympics. Adolf's nickname was "Adi" and his surname was Dassler. After he fell out with his brother Rudolf in 1947, they both went their separate ways and started their own companies. Adolf used his nickname "Adi" and the first three letters from Dassler to name his new company....Adidas. Rudolf set up his own company and called it "Ruda" (RUdolf DAssler) but decided to change the name to PUMA.
I was thinking the same thing, and the PWRRUN PB foam in the endorphin series could be more durable than Nike’s zoomx foam... Saucony is looking great in 2020 so far
Other reviewers were saying the the PB 20 has a thin collar that cuts into the ankle after extended runs? Did you experience this? I have the orange ISS 20s for running and I now understand why they say you need other shoes for faster runs. The boost is so cushioned that I felt I was running on clouds and when I tried to push off for a sprint, the shoe sinks into the cushion which is the most unusual feeling. For sprints or fast work you want a shoe that has less give and more solid to push off. My feet do NOT hurt after the run and I could not feel the track at all through the boost cushion. This shoe is amazingly comfortable, glad I gave it a try.
Dope review. Was looking for another running boost model and it might have to be the PB. Love the 19/20s already expect the tongue keeps folding down on my ankle, which is really annoying. Btw, the reason why the majority of people were cutting the cage was more aesthetic purposes, not performance based.
Finally someone from the states pronounced the name Adidas correctly. It was not so hard, right 😉 And one more thing.... 5:15 - 20% more Boost than in the 19 ? NO ! Absolutely the same amount of Boost like in the 19 !
For short recovery runs? Anything from 3-5 would you suggest the PB? I do about anything from 35-50 a week. But I recently discovered that I need something higher cushion. I’ve got a cloud flow a Boston 9 and a surfer and a peg 36
Hi haven't bought any Ultraboost, but wanted to know which one among these are the best for wide feet. UB 4.0, UB 20, or UB PB? not that wide to buy extra wide shoes, but wider than the average I guess. They are pretty cheap now and want to buy them for daily use and some jogging. ty
@@Believeintherun Yeah, sounds good. I really like the light stability elements of adidas, with the angled midsole. I use to Boston for most of my runs, but my calves get quite beat up in them.
Could you give a feedback on the PB vs the Solar Boost 19 in terms of cushioning? It may be a valid alternative for summer. Solar boost upper is really warm
Hi there, I've always had the cheapest shoes from decathlon haha, but when I go to a rave I can stay dancing non stop drum and bass, psytrance and very speed music for 3-4 days in a row, and I always finish the party dancing barefoot or with a loooot of blisters. I've decided to buy a good pair of sneakers with good air flow because I live in the south of spain and in little it's gonna be 40 ºC lol.... I have to find the most comfortable and traspirable ones and durable (I literally make holes in my shoes jajaj) And I'm not gonna be running, but making a lot of high demanding movements rotating, jumping etc... Which ones do you recommend me? not problem with price.. (I will buy good quality imitations and prices are not touched by the marketing..) Best regards, it's a really important inversion for me, trust me haha I'm always with my feet full of blisters and wounds...
Excellent comparison, just finished the whole thing. I got the ub PBs just now and they don't feel as comfortable as my ub 20, as in more flat. Is that normal? They just feel flat. Maybe they are fake, I did get them on ebay. It's that possible?
You get a Thumbs up for pronouncing Adidas the correct way. 🥳
“In other countries like Europe”
Ah lads come on, yous were doing so well...
We’re idiots 🤣

@Dakari Rhys instablaster :)
Love the personality of you guys, great review while trying not to be too serious just enjoying what you do....Thumbs up
Thanks Guys. Appreciate the excellent review. Was trying to decide which of the two to buy. You helped my decision.
(PB for me)
Am I the only one who flinched at the intro logo part bc of that sound? lmao that caught me off guard haha
Honestly I went with the PB just for the Core Black/Cloud White/Signal Coral colourway

A lighter boost is called PWRRUN+... Unfortunately, it's with Saucony now.

Didn’t have an issue with the collar, but all my socks went above the collar.
Believe in the Run thank you for the reply.

I'm an OG but I had to purchase 2 pairs of these..I'm not your average granny 💯💯
Adidas sl20 vs ultraboost 20 vs ultraboos pb? who win?

I should get one size bigger or its okay to get my real size in ultraboost pb?
Prefer NB 1080v10 over PB?
Both are solid, the 1080v10 is more of a pure running shoe.
Pb more suitable for casual use though because the aesthetic to me is better
I have booth and I've been a NB fan forever. Now that I've had the pureboost omg I'm sold on the boost souls.
Good info

These run narrow
@@Believeintherun Actually got the 20s , pretty snug but not too tight, went a .5 size up
A circle is round AND flat, HAH gotcha science!
So the midsole and boost distribution is same on these two ?
yes
Is this a good training companion to the Boston?
Boston is a lighter, firmer, faster feel trainer. So the Ultraboost would be good to use for your easier high mileage runs.
@@Believeintherun Yeah, sounds good. I really like the light stability elements of adidas, with the angled midsole. I use to Boston for most of my runs, but my calves get quite beat up in them.
I run about 6-10km, what shoe can you recommend between ultra boost 20 or infinity react flynit? Just for running. Thanks
React Infinity is lighter and well cushioned. For pure running The React Infinity is more versatile.
@@Believeintherun ultraboost is still the best overall for me
Would the pb be good for 6 min mile pace on a long run?
If you don’t mind the extra weight.
I love UB19.. I have over 200miles in and I feel like I can another 200 easy. I prefer nice and easy days LSD. UB20 is on its way~
What distances are you running? Are they good for long distances? What’s your pace?
Could you give a feedback on the PB vs the Solar Boost 19 in terms of cushioning? It may be a valid alternative for summer. Solar boost upper is really warm
Similar level of cushioning, I prefer the PB because it does breath so well. Looks sharper too.
Ultra boost has a full length boost also
One would presume "PB" is short for "performance based".
In athletics, your PB is your "Personal Best"..... so you presume wrong!
@@paullynch4021 okay cool dude
It's Prime Blue
Is UltraBoost PB similar with Adidas AM4?

I guess it’s possible
I have to get 1 size up of my normal?
In the Adidas PB.
uhm... its the uncaged version of the curren iteration. nice marketing.
Floatride is much better.
Please review the adidas sl20 and Boston 6
Thank’s for the vídeo!
Please I have a wide foot. would PB squeeze my foot?
Tks!
🤷🏻♂️ how wide is wider?
I mean that most running shoes are tight, except for the ultraboost 3.0 and ultraboost 20.
squeezes my instep. Tks!
awesome quality. very professional. comes with box, invoice, and goodies. will come back for sure.…I just ordered on buys9,Com (factory outlet)
Adolf ‘Adi’ Dassler -> Adidas
Blablabla...
New shoes by uncle Adolf.
Adolf Dassler.
Adidas is in the wrong direction! Completely lost!
Robbie would look alot better if he ate Vegan, just saying ;)
