nice that they updated the ultra boost with performance in mind, which is more important than aesthetics for a running shoe imo. I hope they keep retroing the older models tho because I like them for casual wear.
Joey Simon They already have performance oriented shoes, and a lot already include boost and are considered extremly good. The ultra boost isnt cause is too mushy and still is with that 2019 edition. So they managed, knowing that, to kill the beloved ultra boost aesthetic and produce a shoe that won't even perform great.

Haven’t walked around outside in them yet, but my initial impression is that they feel somewhere in between Ultra Boosts and Ultra Boost STs, which to me is a good thing. I first found UBs after a severe foot injury, searching for the most comfortable sneaker. I have seven pairs ranging from 3.0s to ATR mids to Parley STs to Climas, and I love them all, but to me most of them could’ve used slightly more stability and arch support. They might’ve nailed it here, I’ll know in the next few days I guess. I too was initially disappointed in the new aesthetic, but honestly even the “cage” is growing on me, and over all I’m stoked on the colourway. I’d like to see them experiment with a 1.0 like toe box PK pattern, and wondering what possible collaborations and variations like mids, etc. might be like. I guess nothing ever stays the same forever, but sometimes we can be surprised by how much we like change. Keep doing solid, honest reviews. Love your channel.
How do you compare the climas to... say - 3.0’s or atr mids? If I also have 8 or more pairs of ultraboosts, should I waste my money on climas? There’s one colorway I really like - is why I ask.
How they fit btw? Im 11.5us in Ultraboost normally but with this model/coloway coming in only full sizes, should I get size 11us or 12us? I'm on the wide footed side too
@@hashemfathi1646 Go 10.5 because this knit is tighter & if you go TTS you'll fit but potentially rip the knit. It may run a little longer but is tight on the sides so 10.5 is safest. TTS is not a bad option either if you don't have wide feet
I would really really like them if they had the Og cage. I also won’t be buying them because the ankle padding was probably one of my favorite parts of the ultra boost. It was just so comfy to slide in

I must say once I got them in hand and tried them on I fell in love with them. I am using this pair as more for running until they release better color ways. For running they fee better then any of the other ultra boost I run in!!! Can’t wait to how they style this with more color ways!!
I never had an issue with the heel cup (yeah, it's a heel cup) on the leaks and I'm still pretty okay with it. To me, there's similarities between the heel cup line/shape and some of the …weird shaped stuff… on the N3XT L3V3L (damn, that's hard to type) and the new Y-3 Raito lace…thinger… right by the opening. It's less obvious on the new Nite Jogger but it feels like there's definitely a kind of visual language brewing among the new Adidas models that other people just aren't feeling yet but that I can totally get behind myself. I mean, mostly. I have no clue what's going on with that TRESC thing, especially the red one.
Most of the criticism has been on appearance so far…Seth doesn't say it's *not* comfy, and there's apparently better support? Sounds good to me. Anyhow. I'm withholding judgement until I can try 'em on.
I own: Adidas Ultraboost 4,the latest Uncaged version of ultraboost,Adidas Ultraboost All Terrain-female version although I am a man and now 19 and I can say without a doubt,that if you are looking for a extremely comfortable and rich of that cushy boost feeling walking sneakers,go with Ultraboost All Terrain-the female version. Amazing design,breathable,ultra comfortable, but the softness of boost midsole is crazy ! I don't know about 19 and those 20% more boost,but for me the all terrain midsole boost is unbeatable.

I wouldn't consider the "heel frame" a heel cup because it isn't inside of the shoe or part of the outer. It's a frame around the outside of the already existing heel cup which provides additional stability hence, a heel frame.
I would like to see these in a white sole, black lower primeknit, very dark grey upper primeknit, neon pink and green laser and at last some neon pink and green laces. Doesn't have to be green and pink but any neon colour that goes well together.
This the my second pair of Adidas shoes as I'm a die hard Asics shoes owner. A very noticable is mid foot support for my arch. I could feel the whole inner shoes engulf my feet like a glove. Light weight and cushy. Design look high tech.

ultra boost 2020/5.0 would be cool to have the UB19 midsole, completely new heel cup, new cage, and 360 primeknit in a new knit pattern.
