Ultraboost is my favorite sneaker of all time. Regardless of the hype, still the most comfortable sneaker for my feet and that boost craze era was a special time in my life as it was my freshman year of college.
Bought a pair back in October, wasn’t afraid because it wasn’t popular or still is but just for comfort and the gym. I love these shoes and I’ll definitely buy another pair when I grow out of my old pair. One thing I like about them is that it feels like I’m not even wearing a shoe cause of how comfortable they are.
I only wear ultraboost up to this date. I like how stable it is and soft at the same time. I used to have knee pain for years, after using boost it slowly fade away.
I started my sneaker collection couple years back, my first pair is ultraboost 3.0, swear to god, I fell in love with this silhouette. The comfortable it provide is so amazing. I worked in restaurant for 7 years, I have to quit because I cant stand for hours without hurting feet in restaurant shoes. Ultraboost helped me walking all day at Universal Studio without huring my feet at all. After that, I only buy ultraboost for daily basic, work, walk, work out,... To me ultraboost is even more comfy compare to yeezy 350.
I have severe nerve damage in my legs and ultraboost literally changed my quality of life, nowadays people are way too focused on hype and resale and forget that shoes are more than just those two factors.
I still remember the peak of the Ultraboost era. It wasn't until 2017 in my sophomore year of college that I finally got a pair and after my first pair, I quickly found myself with 10 more pairs of them within the following year. I still wear them to this day and they are still my favorite shoe.
The DNA lineup is definitely one of things that I love about the ultraboost lineup. I had an pair of ultraboost 3.0s and loved how easy it was to slip in and out of the shoe which lost that functionality compared to the UB 19 and later models along with the NMD models. The dyed Boost was also another great thing that they did, while it still has some issues like cracking it is still way better than getting yellowed soles and helps hide wear better. I knew about the clash with Puma after watching another video titled the the rise and fall of ultraboost. As for the change in the rubber and laceless cages those were implied for me as good changes made to the shoe model. I'm surprised there isn't anything mentioned on the plastic lace caging or the 3d printed heel clips since those are some of the things that stands out when I look at an ultraboost.
I love how Seth’s sneaker has some wear and tear. It adds authenticity to this review. I am reminded of all the reasons I love this shoe. The ultra boost is probably one of the most versatile sneakers out there.
I didn’t know people were cutting the cages off the OG pairs but I can see why after trying on the DNA models. The 20s have been my favorite Ultraboost so far but I’m curious to try the 22s.
21s are comfortable, but tend to dig into the sides of your foot and lack good padding on the back. 22s are great for moving around and standing around for long periods of time - they're just a bit wonky feeling sometimes. The 20s are better than both in my opinion. If you like the look of the 21/22 go with the 22. If you're debating between 21/22 and the 20s, go for the 20s.
I never owned a pair, but as I'm getting older I'm starting to look for comfort on style. I always said Jordan retros are high heels for men. They look great but hurt your feet.
Couldn’t agree more man. I really thought ultraboosts were the most comfortable shoes ever until I bought the Nike zoomx invincible run. Not the best looking shoe but comfortable as all hell
I love that you did this video. I entered the sneaker game in 2016 in peak boost hype and my first cop was a pair of Pure Boosts. Just like you said ANYTHING with boost was selling out. A few months later I managed to get a pair of NMD's because Ultraboosts were still impossible to find anywhere. 6 years later and nearing 100 in my sneaker collection I will always have a pair of Ultraboost in the rotation AND on ice. Boost is life!
Here in 2022 still loving my extensive collection of Ultra Boosts. They really are the most comfy shoes for sports/running/lifestyle and I have to admit it's nice being able to walk into a store and purchase a pair if I want them!!
I just bought my first pair last week and I love them. I have a degenerative lower back issue and they have been amazing. I bought a second pair already, just to have a back-up.
2 years since I'm using Adidas Ultraboost 20 for the same issue(degenerative disc disease),they are the best and most comfortable shoes ever and defo a God sent for people with lower back pain
I remember when I started working at adidas in 2014 , the release of the boosts, seeing it many color ways and stages, and Yeezys were such an exciting time for me during my many years there.
Ultraboost 19 were my first pair of Boost Shoes. I looked up Top comfortable shoes and came across Seths video. I had the Oreo colorway and man were they clean af. I beat them to death and wish i had another pair.
My every day shoes are ultra boosts. They look good and are very comfortable. They certainly helped relieve the pain of my plantar fasciitis a few years ago.
By far the most comfortable trainer I ever used for everyday wear. I have a collection of laceless and few uncaged ones too. I don’t like the rubber 3 stripes thing on the 20-22 versions personally
My first pair of Adidas was like 2 months ago. I bought the ultraboost climacool 2 dna triple white. Love the shoe and how it makes me feet feel. I've bought 2 more pair of ultraboost shoes. Love the line.
Had the first ones, then got the Parley edition and now just got a 5.0 version. Will never touch another pair of trainers, they are the absolute top tier for comfort. Had the parley ones for years and only changing as worn the absolute nuts off them
Just got my first pair and I love em. BUT, I think my right shoe is pressing on a nerve or something because the inner side of my foot goes numb :/ I’m a true 9 and I have a 9.5, I bought them somewhere where I can’t exchange for a higher size or even return. Not sure what to do cause they’re so comfy and so stylish!
My favorites from the boost collection the Parleys (Coral & Nightshade Blue) Climas (parley & solar yellow) Game of Thrones Collab (white walkers) amazing looking sneakers that are also super comfortable
I lived the Ultraboost hype in 2016-2019 but unfortunately I was never able to get a pair but I always liked the sneaker and really wanted to try and see that boost comfort everyone was craze about. About a year ago I purchased my first pair and it is the most comfortable shoe I ever worn. Gonna be buying more pairs soon
The ultraboost is by far my favorite shoe ever. In the past 5 years ive owend around 7 pairs of ultraboost including the 4.0s, 19s, uncaged, and the 5.0 dnas. They are by far still the most comfortable shoe ive ever put on my foot, and I continue to buy a new pair each year to replace my old beat up pair.
I've been using ultraboosts since 2017 and they are just the most comfortable sneakers. And I just bought a new pair, the ultraboost dna 5.0 pride 2022. And like usual I love them.
Just bough my first ever Ultraboost from sales. I was in the sneaker hype back in 2015s. Man, the hype was overwhelming. Finally, after seeing many waves of decrease in price, i can own one now.
I have at least a dozen pair of running shoes. Adidas running shoes with boost foam are my fav in terms of cushioning but the outsole or threads falls out rather quickly. I think it is difficult to glue them to the boost foam. It is a pity, good shoes but the threads falls out fast
I have a restaurant owner friend who does the serves and everything else except cooking. He can’t cook. He said he would walk almost 6-8 km per working day and he has like 4-5 pairs of ultraboost that he wears just for working in his restaurant.
I have the first Energy Boost, which I bought at a release party at a specialty running shoe. I do love that original too, though the fit didn’t work for me as well as the Ultra Boost.
I dont have boost on my rotation, but one thng is sure that Adidas shoes are comfy as hell. I do have yeezy calabasas, continental 80 and yung 1 frieza which are great on widefoot like me
Still one of my favourite pairs, and have had a bunch of pairs just coz they're so comfortable. I got a pair of Y3 21's for half price recently and have been beating them since.
I remember I found a pair for $120 and was so excited because they were hard to find and so expensive. Even at that price it was the most expensive shoes I had ever purchased and I had to order them from Europe to US because that was the cheapest place lol. I wore the crap out of them and they definitely were the most comfortable shoe ever.
I wanted something cute for the gym and saw these on sale for 140 so i figured id get a pair and finally figure out what the hype was about. Now i definetly get why
My last 3 pairs of sneakers have been Ultra Boost. They are just perfect: comfortable, light and a minimalistic design that ables you to mix it up with almost everything. I'm not going back to another type of sneakers. I don't care about hype or trends, specially with bulky sneakers trend.
The cushion is great but it worn out after 8 months so i put up extra insole for padding and another thing is it is so tight even after 8 months of using
I own quite a few pairs and I got all of them from the thrift store. Every time I see a new (used) pair on the shelf, my eyes light up. I absolutely love all my Boosts.
I had a pair of UltraBoost OG for only 79€ because they’re not selling at all in limited edition shops, but then Mr West appeared in them and the market blowed up. I always wanted to have a pair of J&D 1.0 and I had a pair of Wood Wood. Still have my triple black 1.0 ❤️
to this day i only wear ultraboosts or NMDs. they're just so incredibly comfortable and easy to wear with anything. hell, i wear them to the office with business clothing.
I bought a pair back in October and I only bought them for the gym and comfort, one of my favourite shoes that I’ll have to get again once mine get small on me
Boost is life! I fell in love with this sneaker back in 2019, and have since amassed a collection of nearly 70 pairs, mostly in the 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 styles, but I also have the occasional 19, 20, 21, 22, All Terrain, Guard, etc. sprinkled in. It's great to see the Ultraboost love!
I found a pair of the OG Navy 1.0s at goodwill for 6$, somebody had done a terrible custom on them, I “undid” the custom, the boost is cracking, but I couldn’t leave a pair of OG 1.0s for 6$
Great vid seth. The OG white ultra boost 1.0 in 2015 was what got me into sneakers. Still the only of two pairs I own. The green highlight at the bottom is the best part imo. Infinergy also a decent name tbh
As always, great video Seth! 👍 Adidas Ultraboost is one of my favorite shoes of all-time. They're very comfortable, a crossover of high-performance technology and fashion. Boost is life! 🙂
i remember buying my first UB for my gym sesh before kanye wore them, people not batting an eye when i went to the gym but when kanye wore them, the shoe was a head turner.
I've always loved Jordans and air max but since developing MS I switched to ultraboost after watching seth and heskicks. Gotta say they so comfortable if you have any walking issues and easy on easy off. Thanks for another great video Seth 👍
Been wearing my Ultra Boost S&L Light Granite for a couple years now very intensively and still love em to bits! Comfort and fits with every ouffit really
Great vid man, Im watching since 2017, I grew up on your work as well as on the other big ones of that time. It s really nice that u make content even after the hype dropped on the ub, but the ogs will probably still appreciate the nostalgic bits Keep it up Seth ❤️
I got my first UB21 in December 2021 and I loved them. Always wanted to get them but stepped back because of the price. Got a fresh pair of UB22 recently and love them :)
The 1.0s are my favourite shoe ever, both in terms of comfort and styling. I couldn’t care less about the hype dying, I’ll still be rocking them for many more years to come
It’s been so crazy to think this shoe is 7 years old like that’a actually Insane I remember getting my first pair when they came out by raffle wow time flies
I believe it was a white energy boost with a purple/black trim on the outer sole he performed/attended @ United Center. Still got mine DS 😌 ultra boost best shoe ever wish they lasted longer. Goto now is NB 920, 991, and 1500 for long lasting comfort

Yeah. Great hangaround sneaker still even if it isnt hype. So comfy
could not agree more I still have a pair from 2016 I daily wore and they are still comfortable to this day
I have many sneakers and imo Ultra Boost is very overrated.
I much prefer Flyknit racers or 4ds.
@@TheEryk03 4ds are just ultraboost uppers with worse cushioning bruh

Hey seth can you please do a review video for the Jordan 4 military black coming out this may 21st
Ultraboost for work is life . Being on my feet all day . There are not many that can keep you in the comfort and stability all day like the ultraboost

The last really iconic shoe to date

I'll never forget finding the og parley ultraboosts for $30 in a burlington right after they released during peak boost hype. Crazy times
