not likely. the majority of adidas' serious running shoes actually use LESS boost, not more. boost is incredibly heavy as sole technologies go, that's why there's less of it in the Pure and Boston lines that are loved by runners, and especially the frequently world-record holding Adios line.
It's super heavy tho. Personally, as an owner of the 19s I rly don't like to run in them. Just feels really sluggish. Well I am rly light so my legs muscles aren't as strong. Got some zoomfly FKs and they were way better for running.
just do it laceless it would be cool to see if it looks any better. or you could try to cut the little spaces between the stripes to make it look more like the original ultra boost.

They look ...special, unusual, overall I like it, it has a future vibe going on but the older ultraboost has that casual, everyday kind of vibe. I have the older ultraboost and for me It‘s nit worth buying the 2019 Ultraboost when you already have the older one in perfect condition. (Maybe If you‘re a professional runner It would make sense to buy the new shoe even though you have the older one)
I just got my first pair of ultra boost (og) and when i slipped them on i noticed the insole wanted to rise up, so that is a good tip to try them without the insole on. Especially for sizes because you know what it's like getting that perfect size but they only have a half size up or down.
I went to pick these up when they had that limited release on adidas.com...but I passed because it looks like they didn’t come in half sizes and I would like to try them on first . Do you know if this is how the 2019 boost will release or not having half sizes was only for the limited release?

Me too..last summer i cop one...i'm little disappointed..about the continental outsole..from maximum 150 wearing now it's sharpened 80%.. getting crazy mad..but.. that's it...with all my shoes i make compromise..the sad thing are that i live in Romania and the prices are to god damm high...i paid 230$..so... Love the new heel cup but only worry is because they made it overlay on the boost instead of above it like the OG my worry is if it takes away from the squish factor when your pressing down on the heel. Does it still have that same squish factor? And then the huge mistakes lol we’re the cage for sure and then the ankle collar it made the shoe look cheaper. And like I said before if they were to use that primeknit pattern and keep the heel cup but keep the collar and cage the same even the bigger boost would have been a great idea and make that the 5.0. It because of the bigger changes on the cage and collar idk if I’m going to go for it. I want to definitely try them out but whether I keep or send back really depends on comfort but the bottom boost is why I’m interested for sure. God bless great video

Hoping for an Ultra Boost 2020 that will bring the UB19 and the 1.0-4.0s together. I honestly do not want to wait that long to get the benefits from both models, but hopefully we will have a good new atheleisure model some time soon.
All your so called negatives were all plus’s to me not sure why you think the stitching and the tongue being thinner and also the cage is much better looking that the ultra boots4 3 stripe cage which I think looks cheap af and looks hella stupid when I keep my laces loose because the 3 stripe cage gets all floppy and bend out so the 19’s cage is 10x better! Everything on the 19’s are FARRR BETTER than the ultra boost 4’s

I hope they play with the pattern of the PK. Different designs could breathe some life into the UB. Iteratively changing the pattern on the UB1-5, while keeping the everything else the same, got kinda redundant after the third model...

Original was best and most understated and versatile look; the replacement of the cage with that moulded plastic fabric just looks and feels cheap for such an expensive shoe. They may have kept the OG line but discontinued the nicest colour combo (blue-black).
to me these just looks like something you would make in an adidas design workshop. like that thing ohitsteddy did where he went to the adidas factory and got to pick and choose different parts of different shoes and frankenstiein them together. it looks like they created some rough sample/beta version of a new UB and then just said "fuck it lets release it like this" instead of further refining the look and making it actually look good. performance may be good but the look is not... on this colorway at least. I have seen other leaked colorways that look slightly better.
I own a pair of boost. And its Not my fav. The soles are horrible. The soles need 100 percent continental rubber soles. They need to get rid of that hard plastic sole. I own an alpha bounce zip with extreme tread continental sole. And for me alpha bounce zip with the continental rubber soles are the best shoes i have ever own. I really was looking forward to own boost until i got disappointed. Now i want some alpha bounce but i can't find them anywhere

Just left Footlocker, tried on 5 different pairs...walked out with the 19'!!!!

I now have both. The adizero leads your foot which is awesome. It also is like 2 times lighter.it feels more stable. Cushioning is less as expected.
For a nicer fit with jeans take out the insole.
