Hello, this piano was bought to me by my hubby as a birthday gift. The only thing i know is just to play a piece when i feel likes it. I am not a pro player. My hubby passed away and he knew more on the piano. Myhouse is now in the market and when i came back to our house, the piano was moved to another area of the house as my Realtor re staged the place for selling. The piano is unplugged, sustain pedal is nowhere to be found and can't where the cables are. I bought a power cable and plug it in but no sound is coming out even raising the volume. What am i missing , what should i do?
we have the RD700 at our church and really dig it! You mention avoiding the transpose button and I agree for the most part. However our pianist really prefers sheet music, but sometimes it's not offered in a key that's conducive to corporate worship (aka all the super high Tomlin songs)-- so while the rest of the bad is going off a lead sheet with chords, our pianist transposes and follows along with the sheet music. Then it's just an issue of making sure that things go back to proper keys for the next song :)
Yes. This particular keyboard DOES NOT have built in speakers. Most professional level keyboards do not have built in speakers. But there are plenty of inexpensive speaker solutions out there.
When you don't want to have to take your hands off the keys to stop the beat that's playing - there's a foot control to stop and start the beats. But I don't know how to activate & use that feature. Can't find it in the manual.
I've never had to use this feature before, but you would do that thru one of the control pedals (FC1 or FC2) and set it by pressing EDIT/CONTROL and setting the appropriate pedal to 101: START/STOP
this is a wonderful piano, highly recommend. God bless
Great video and review. Thanks.
One of these keyboards is available local to me for $800, is that a good price?

Have you plugged in the headphones?

Does this keyboard have to be connected to a speaker to get any sound out of it?

Is it possible to put new sounds? Samples
How do you use the USB to run on your laptop?
Hi.. is it better than xps 10 ?
Is this a synth or a controller or a workstation or an arranger???
Great question! Synth.
Can you turn rhythms on and off with a pedal?
what do you mean?

Thanks! I'm going to give that a shot today! I have a couple of Boss pedals that start & start my Boss DR Rhythm 'machine.'
are the keys weighted?
Yes. It's a fully weighted 88 key keyboard. Roland has since come out with the RD2000 which is AMAZING. I would highly recommend it!
Yes
