If you like that Dr Hook song, you gotta listen to "When your in love with a beautiful woman"., or also "baby makes her blue jeans talk". Both are really great dr hook songs!!
Yup! More please! Lol When ur in love with a beautiful Woman! Is another big Dr Hook hit! But I gotta say, I havnt heard this song n so many years, but I was singing and remembered every word! I have to say, ur grandfather has fabulous taste n music!!!!!
Hey James! Good to see you! Love Dr. Hook and this is a favorite of mine! Please react to their songs “Sexy Eyes” and “A little bit more.” I’m sure you Grandpa AND Grandma would approve-❤️💝👍
Gotta hear " Cover of the Rolling Stone", not sure, but I think that made them make the cover of the magazine "The Rolling Stone", fun song! Thanks for your reactions, I listen to each one, keep it up!
You've must have heard this many times, but your grandfather has the most excellent taste in music. Would love to have partied with him. Shows how music transcends all races and creeds. Nothing wrong with connecting more deeply with one grandparent than the other. Just like anyone else. It takes nothing from the other. Hello from Saskatoon,Saskatchewan, Canada
They have so many great songs. Love Dr. Hook, even prefer it to many of today's artists/songs. My favorite is Sylvia's Mother. This one is my 2nd. Thanks for playing it...brought back wonderful memories! ❤🎶🎵😍
My grandma was my rock. She lived to be 93, at 85 she was still traveling to Hawaii to golf. She had so much spunk. Hang onto your your grandparents as long as you can. This is one of my favorites by Dr. Hook. 🌸🌸🌸
Yeah Dr Hook. One of the most underrated and often forgotten bands of the time. Had a bunch of hits. All of them were in this kind of nice mellow genre.
Speaking of *smooth*... You my friend, have one of the smoothest, calmest and gentle spirits(soul?)I have seen/felt. You are special, precious and unique. Thank you for giving me hope.
I’m loving your grandparents! They have the best taste in music. Man I was 15 when this was released. Such wonderful memories. No cell phones, computers and we talked to each other. Danced with each other. Back when it was cool ❤️❤️
Brother your smile and personality is beautiful man! I love your reaction bro! I watched your reaction like ten times and it just makes me smile. You just exude genuine joy while you were talking about your grandfather and grooving to this music. Love seeing a young black man jammin’ to what some consider a cheesy white man’s song from the 70’s. Thank you for bringing some joy to my RUclips feed. I have always loved this song growing up in the 70’s
Fun fact about this song it was called spend the night together they had to change it to share before it was played on the radio. It is great you respect your granddad and enjoy what time you have with him .
One would think that ten years after radio blackballed “Let’s Spend The Night Together”, by the Stones, that by 1976 a song title like that shouldn’t even raise an eyebrow.
your grandpa must be one kewl dude, keep playing songs he suggests! you can't be depressed while listen to classic rock. I was blessed to hear these songs the very first time on the radio. it was an amazing time to be alive
I truly appreciate your reaction to one of the best songs ever. Your reaction was genuine and sweet. And you do have some smooth moves going on as well.. Thank you for the smile and thank you grandpa for having impeccable taste in music..How about some Bread to follow up that slow and sensual mood.
This whole album was really good! Some of their older stuff is excellent as well. You can’t go wrong with Sylvia’s Mother, Freaking at the Freakers Ball, When You’re In Love With a Beautiful Woman, I gave Her Comfort, Cover of the Rolling Stone.
Much respect to you for your love and respect of your grandparents. I just lost my last one on Christmas Day 2020 and I love how you have such deep reverence and appreciation for yours while they are still here with you. I also love that you dig this slow jam do much. It's got tinged of soul, pop, country and just a sprinkling of disco. It's quite a musical combination and the lyrics are vulnerable and sincere.
You are such a respectful young man. I don’t see a lot of that anymore. While you have your grandparents take advantage of the time to truly know them and learn from their experiences and wisdom. My grandparents are long gone and I miss them everyday.
Dr.Hook was such a fun group. They did some short but soulful songs.Your Grandpa has great taste in music.I have agreed with all his picks so far. He didn't say you're coming with me girl.He asked politely,Would you mind sharing the night together? So smooth.Gotta love' em.Check out"Sexy Eyes".
They came to our town and performed years ago. They had a new young guitar player, Keith Austin. He and my sister flirted some. He invited her to his hotel. She wanted chaperones so my husband and I went along and got to jam with Ray Sawyer and hang with the rest of the band. He sang a song called Little Things Mean a Lot. He had forgotten the words to Sharing the Night Together. He has since passed. RIP Ray.
I Love this song so much and loved When your in Love with a Beautiful Woman this song was smooth , believe me and we just expected a man to ask to be with you alone , didnt always mean going lead to more , but wanting to be with you and get to know you
If you like that Dr Hook song, you gotta listen to "When your in love with a beautiful woman"., or also "baby makes her blue jeans talk".
Both are really great dr hook songs!!
We wanted this to be the theme song for our Sr Prom, but they thought it was inappropriate.
One of my favorites.
Just ask a girl to dance on this song and eye contact was all you needed!!!! ❤❤❤❤

My grandma was my rock. She lived to be 93, at 85 she was still traveling to Hawaii to golf. She had so much spunk. Hang onto your your grandparents as long as you can.

Grandparents are the best. My grandmas leaved us at 96 and 102. I miss them and very often the mistakes I did with them come to my mind...
Love seeing young people appreciating our music.

This group is an interesting group of musicians. Looks like they have fun. I always loved this song.
You’re about to head into a soft rock rabbit hole. Good stuff! Grandpa strikes gold again.💛
Many of their songs are crazy. Although, Sylvia's Mother is kind of a sad one.
Those were great times
"A Little Bit More" is the perfect follow-up.
Love Dr. Hook my favorite song by them is queen of the silver dollar!!!
This band was so much fun!
(Their antics kept them limited on tv and most ratio stations wouldn't play their music...one if my favorite bands lol!)
I was an 18 yr old teenage girl loving this song!! Dancing away, it felt so romantic at the time, not thinking too far ahead! 😉

You've got to do Dr Hook's "Sylvia's Mother." It's my favorite Dr. Hook song (because I was in a similar situation back then).
Just imagine your Grandma and Grandpa probably used to dance to this song
"Silence is golden" by the Tremeloes.
You should introduce your grand dad to some Silk Sonic - Leave the door open. He would love it. Smooth!!!!
I love your reaction. You were getting down Brother
"The Cover of the Rolling Stone" or "Got Stoned and I Missed It" when Dr. Hook sounded like a different band.
I LOVE their version of "Only Sixteen". They more than did justice to Sam Cooke's immortal song!
Aahh Yeah ,Allright.
Same vibe!!

Dr. Hook: Sexy Eyes ..also Dr. Hook: I Got Stoned And I Missed It ...both excellent songs by Hook
