I've listened/watched this several times and I like it the more I hear it. His voice has that special something that not many have.

We played this song at the cremation of my husband Oscar who died suddenly march 20th this year. Makes me cry every time I hear this song, but we both loved this artist and this song so much so there was no doubt about it that we used it when we remembered him during the ceremony.

This is my first time hearing this artist, but I love the song and the artist as well as the arrangement. I play violin/fiddle, so the look on the violinist's face made me feel nostalgic for my former partner who lives on the opposite coast from me. I've always missed him, but I didn't know he felt the same until we saw each other again last year at a bluegrass festival (20+years since we'd seen each other) Crossed fingers the financial complications can be ironed out.
This song is number one at funerals here in the Netherlands. The feel and lyrics of this song, a song about life of which we just don't know what the hell it is but as long as we are not alone, makes it the perfect song to reflect on the life of the one who died.

the link to Roller Coaster. I am in the US, the stuff he does is really an "Americana"

I so love hearing an acoustic guitar being picked. This is a new artist for me, and he has a great voice. I really enjoyed this, love the lyrics. Totally get what you were saying and yes this is going on my playlist as well. This also brings back memories of getting together with friends and singing worship songs, just a few guitars, drums and a bass. Great pick💕

Really liked the emotions in your face during the song, and it encompasses what the song is for me.
Not many songs that keep their emotional effect on me after hearing it a hundred times or more, and never starts to get bored on me.
And keep in mind, this was live, this guy has a phenomenal voice and almost perfect pitch, autotune wouldn't exist if all singers were capable like him.
New artist to me, this song is lovely. Touched my heart 😥. Had me thinking about my Troy 😊❤.

Can't you try to make it viral all over the states? It's country from the Netherlands and timeless....instant evergreen all over the world.
I've known of him a long time and he has some great original songs but does a lot of covers too so when I heard this song the first time I assumed this was some classic country song It has that classic song vibe, you can listen to it all day. He wrote it about his wife and he doesn't even try to take his long songs to the radio anymore, but his fans kept requesting it on radio stations and when they started playing it it became a nr1 hit. It's hard to make a lot of money out of music here as everyone just downloads, he had a huge hit in Turkey too early on but didn't make any money out of that either. But having a big hit increasing interest in his theater shows and he sells his self produced albums there. He also did a lot of tv.

The number of hitsingles don’t make a singer songerwriter make a bad artist. I know plenty of musicmakers that have no hits but are the best musicians in the way they are.
I love the different instruments. Seems hard to find things like this that are from this era. I have a question for ones that might be more knowledgeable about this newer generation of musical. It seems that a lot of younger people are really enjoying music from the 70s and 80’s. I grew up with it so I’m a little biased.

Danny is a great artist. He's been around a really long time but this is, besides a small succes from another song way back, his real first big hit in the Netherlands, commercial wise.

This song and arrangement has quite a nostalgic feel; Country hasn't been particularly popular for decades, at least here in the Netherlands with a possible exception for Ilse De Lange. .It wouldn't be out of place in the Grand Ole Opry

you must see OG3NE from holland they have a lot on youtube
the only issue i have is that his guitar could have been less treble ( hight tones ) heavy and the same for the whole mix.... every small mistake he makes in his picking now stands out. His voice is flawless. Also the tuning of the guitar had some issues. Overall a great performance
