This is quite honestly the best part of the movie. When I went to see this in theaters (both times) the theater erupted into applause after this scene was over.
Sure, but I honestly find the whole movie wonderful! But yes, if we talk about the most impressive scene visually, it's certainly this (followed by the one in which Kenai tells everything to Koda and the one in which Kenai decides to take the form of a bear to be with Koda) 🧡
I can only imagine! This scene is really one of my favorites in Brother Bear! I remember seeing this in theaters almost 20 years ago when I was only 8 with my grandparents. But I don’t remember any cheering in the theater.
Best part of this movie. While both versions of this magnificent song already sound beautiful enough when played separately, combining them both together makes it 50 times better!!!!
Brother Bear is such an underrated Disney Movie. It probably has the best message of all Disney Movies, great animation and all the songs are timeless.
When I was smaller I always cry watching this scene. But then later after I understand the lyrics and re-watch the movie as I grow up, it hits me stronger.. Imagine this song when we do something wrong or sinful and God is trying to teach us a lesson in the most gentlest way nobody will ever do. And when we've learned the lesson and making us see things clearer, we become more thankful that God gave us those trials, because He wants to become better, because of His infinite love for us. 🥺💗
This movie is so underrated. I can't begin to tell you how annoying it is hearing people drool over frickin Frozen and completely ignore gems like this. Smh
Again with the dumbass sheeple frozen bashing. Why the fuck don't you people go after Tangled or literally any other movie which has also been held above brother bear? Like seriously grow the fuck up.
Separately they were great enough as they are, but combining them was just heavenly to the ears. It sounds as if Phil Collins was god himself incarnated to give us this message of understanding. Thank you Phil, we will remember you forever.
From my memory I think they used this footage in the trailers, as in parts of it and I think they knew that it was the strongest part of the movie, heck the first part all the up to when Kenai gets knocked out is perfect, sure the rest of film is not as good, it just loses only loses small percentage its still great but the whole first chunk with the three brothers is awesome setup for all three of the brothers, and the feeling this seen had was completely oozing with warmth and mystery, I can't describe it any better further in words than just magical.
@@seanthedragon135 But would it be a GOOD idea to bring them back? The temperature is not the same now with the global warming, besides the hunters and maybe poachers (idk if i typed it right, this isnt my first language) maybe you could say "They are huge and strong animals" but humans have managed to kill elephants, okay they arent as big as a mammoth but humans wouls still find a way to kill them
@@knight9461 It has been suggested that reintroducing mammoths to Siberia would help to combat global warming; the footsteps of herds of these massive mammals used to help keep the ground packed down, stabilising the permafrost and reducing the release of subterranean methane into the atmosphere.
i regret everything i said, no beeing can deside our destiny, only us, cause we are free beens, we choosed to live the life we're living, we choose always what we want to experience in our way to find happines, planitude peace, realization evolution. If someone desides for us is because we allowed it, wich happens a lot. Our will is untouchable, control someone "for love", what kind of love is that if you dont let me learn?
I’m a Christian but a I could totally see a spiritual message being taken from the song. To me personally, it sounds like God revealing Himself to an unbeliever or giving somebody a second chance
LYRICS: Come with me, I’ll take you now To a place that you fear For no reason why, your heart has turned away from me And I will make you understand Everything will become clear to you When you see things through another’s eyes Everything will become clear to you Whatever’s meant for you, you will find Come with me, I’ll take you there To a place where you’ll see Everything you need to be the one you need to be And all of those things that you feared Will disappear from you in time Everything will become clear to you When you see things through another’s eyes Everything will become clear to you Whatever’s meant for you, you will find
im soo glad i came across this video thank you for posting it i forgot how much this song meant to me im very happy its here it means alot i have loved this song since the movie came out it has helped me feel better when i wasnt feeling well thanks soo much!!
Amazing 'spiritual' music coming from three rock & roll stars: songwriter Phil Collins (Genesis), producer/orchestrator Mark Mancina (producer of ELP), and choral arranger/conductor Eddie Jobson (Roxy Music, Jethro Tull, Frank Zappa). Who'd have thunk it? Of course performed by the incredible Bulgarian Women's Choir.
Oh wow, this is totally amazing! Is there any way you can put this music up for download? I was actually thinking awhile back that it would be really cool if there was a combination of the two versions, and now I've found that someone has done it!
I have loved this scene ever since I was five years old. At the time, I didn't understand the whole spirits in the sky and what it was all about; all I knew was how pretty the entire scene was and how COOL it was to be transformed into a bear. And it still is. But now, when I watch this scene with the music: I weep, both with happiness and sorrow. Because after watching it more, I understood what this was: spirits of long-dead animals dancing in the expanse of the aether, watching the world as it grows and develops, just like the American depictions of the Aurora Borealis. Indeed, a beautiful representation of the afterlife... Even if we know that's just the shed rays of the Sun upon the northern hemisphere: it's still something to admire. Honestly, it's hard to hold them back, both in the first and second scenes with them: when Koda sees his mother one last time before she returns to the masquerade of souls, even in the sequel when they re-write the paintings on the cave under the waterfall. Splendid, absolutely beautiful...
I'm using the program called "Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0". You can create really great videos with it - I'm not good at it... I'm jealous of most of the RUclips community-members! ^_^
@TytheTiger02 Hey, thank you for the nice comment! Actually I have no idea where I should upload it... and I have no publishing rights for those songs, either, I'm so sorry :(
Phil Collins and the Bulgarian women's choir voices blend perfectly. Gives me chills.
Persephone Almana This should have been in the movie.
+Mitchel Anhalt yeah this should have been in the movie
i was a very pride filled teen and never sensitive. because of this song I cried and apologized to dad for my stupidity and arrogance
Great voice harmony between them
Every time.
This is quite honestly the best part of the movie. When I went to see this in theaters (both times) the theater erupted into applause after this scene was over.
Skyler Maves I would’ve LOVED to have seen this in theaters just for this scene.
Sure, but I honestly find the whole movie wonderful! But yes, if we talk about the most impressive scene visually, it's certainly this (followed by the one in which Kenai tells everything to Koda and the one in which Kenai decides to take the form of a bear to be with Koda)

I just want to rewatch this (but in theaters) before I die...

The stuff falling at 0:54 are the tears of the spirits and you can’t convince me otherwise
Best part of this movie. While both versions of this magnificent song already sound beautiful enough when played separately, combining them both together makes it 50 times better!!!!
Phil Collins & Bulgarian Woman are both
Extraordinary with their own Music
Putting both the choir and Phil’s voice makes it beautiful
I got goosebumps the second the singing started. THANK YOU.
I always wanted to see these two versions merged into one. Thank you.
Mitchel Anhalt It's more epic and skin crawling with both versions merged.
You’re Welcome
The two Versions sound so Beautiful together. I love it.
every time I hear this, i cry...its so amazing and touching to me make think hear and see through another eyes..I love Phil...I love this movie...
Brother Bear is such an underrated Disney Movie. It probably has the best message of all Disney Movies, great animation and all the songs are timeless.
Yeah, but I'm bitly dissapointed, because this movie is set in prehistory, but woolly mammoths are probably only Extinct animals in this movie.
there is no worlds to say how beautiful this is

I know watch you mean . like that movie spirit , the one about the horses , its so beautiful
Joseph Gregory I do like Frozen, but this is a much better film by far.

timepickle Because Tangled is a great movie
timepickle Why don't you grow up? Seriously, quit getting triggered by different opinions. Not everyone has to like Frozen
The way this scene impacted me as a kid! I love this movie so much. ❤️
I never knew Phil Collins wrote that song and they just put it in a different language. That is so cool!

The Bulgarian women are lthe angels.
YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME, HE'S NOT DEAD YET ;^;
Does anyone else’s soul ascend when the beat kicks in?
Every time.
Yep.😊
Yep and I and my soul love it. 😊
Blending them together is the best thing ever. Love it
they should make a virtual reality video on the oculus rift , it will be the most beautiful spiritual journey to see all of this right in front of you
fezz sorry I'm late, better yet, what if you ARE Kenai in the vid, let's see it happen folks!
morebricks 0301 disney will need to approve of it since they still own it
That would be apsolutly amazing! With the song blasting around you, and the spirits, ugh I'd love it.

Ah, I so wish mammoths and mastadons still roamed the forests of the north. We really need a Pleistocene Park.
Scientists are currently working on a way to bring them back. :3
Kat Studios Rather start with the passenger pigeon first. We still have the environment to support them.
Hey they did make a Pleistocene park and they are going to clone mammoths to roam it in siberia

They seriously need to do a live performance of this scene at the Disney parks
Always brings me to tears! Including goosebumps! Love both versions
