      【Failure】 I will get it if it’s occasional that you hold the reins. But when people always do it it’s annoying. You should train yourself not to. I love how you don’t most of the time though!🥳👍🏻

      @@wisterianaka.9550 I agree however some people do not ride often enough / have their own horse / fall off enough to be able to train themselves not to as, like Failure said, its not your natural instinct to do so.

      tugging at the reins makes it worse! I've been dragged lots of times before but holding the reins makes it worse. When the horse bolts wiggle your foot and it falls out, hold the horses head and it wants to get away more cause it is already scared. Being fearful of being dragged doesn't warrant holding the reins and tugging

      Rather have your horse run far away near a dangerous road for example?, or it stepping on the reins and breaking its jaw?
      It doesn’t hurt the horse to pull it the opposite direction, only if it’s against the mouth. Only thing it would hurt would be behind the ears..
      But sometimes things happen so quickly and you don’t even have time to react or do anything in the situation of falling off, it’s just instinct..

    One of my falling experiences was when I had first gotten my bb, he was pretty new to the area but he had been trained for years and was a super calm and chill horse, we'd been together a while but he was my friends horse and was now coming to live with me. Anyways, one day I was taking him around the property, as we usually do, and the next door mares started acting up, and so he did too. Tried bucking me off, which I was not having and managed to stay on, so he took off and then I started slipping off the side and when I finally let go of the saddle I ended up tumbling down in front of his left side and he kicked me so hard in the ribs, I had a hoof print there for a week, along with a big bruise. Yeah, not fun, but thinking back on it now, it must've been funny to watch, I was clinging for dear life and just holding the saddle as much as I could without pulling the reigns, cuz I'd let myself fall and get hurt before I start pulling on his mouth like that.

      @L.C123 2 года назад +1

      A horse shying is at 30mph average (I think that speed is right!?) it’s quite quick, so quick you don’t have enough time to react with “right my horse is shying and I’m gonna fall so lemme just let go of the reins” that’s not how our brain works either, we grab hold of anything to stop from falling even though it doesn’t work sometimes. So yes let go of the reins if you can but if not then try not to pull on them too much

    3:52 That glide was so smooth😆😂
    For the bad falls, I hope horse and rider are both okay. Falling isn't fun, but watching them happen agin, like when I fell a few months ago, I thought it was quite funny😂😂

      Calvin & Jacklyn’s story of jumping ponies can take a surprising amount of weight.

      Calvin & Jacklyn’s story of jumping I know it is so annoying as we know that house is in extreme pain as the horse is bucking a lot and their owners are laughing at it like it is a joke ( but maybe they are unaware but they should know if they own a horse they should know) 🤦‍♀️🙄😑this is infuriating

      skzplayah yes but does that make it ok does that mean that that is not hurting the pony that pony was a Shetland Which can carry 3x its weight but that is like how I CAN carry my mum but if u but her on my back it would not end well and since it hurt so much I would chuck her of like the pony is in the video 🙄 why are u sticking up for animal abusers some people man!

    I love it when the few horses just stop everything they’re doing, when you are on the side of it heading for the ground
