This guy plays so fast and so clean and makes it look so easy. On top of all this he has a great singing voice

Trying something new here for a change. Please let me know if you want more of that and what else you want to see. Suggestions on how to improve this format are highly welcome! Stay safe ya'll! P.S.: Regarding Lick #2, the TAB is correct in regards to the original performance. My memory of it was slightly different so I play a variation on it in the lesson video. Both ways work great and are worth learning.
İts great content martin. Please keep them coming 👍👍👏👏
Really like that you explain how these fit within the context of the song from a theory perspective. That is definitely the most difficult part for me, so it is extremely helpful. Thank you!
can u do the sultan of swing i love your solo and some licks part after the song u add some licks
Travels and end in itself, Martin thanks
..what else I want to see...tabs for ruclips.net/video/e-gibS1h__E/видео.html outro solo, that would be great! Thanks for this lesson.
Martin = ABSOLUTION👍
Martin i have no words for this gift you are offering us. Thank you so very very much.
you have almost no words for this gift
I don't think I am qualified enough to understand what you are explaining..
Chill out
Oh my god it’s so nice to hear someone who doesn’t have a tonne of delay on every note. Thank you for this lesson video; you’re an amazing teacher.
Man, I use an obscene amount of delay with the band xD Cheers, dude!
This guy teach me how to REALLY learn and use the CAGED system! In only 2 months I was able to play all the stuff I was playing before but really seeing what I was doing in every single note. Amazing material from JTC. Thanks Martin!
Hi Leonardo, to what JTC product are you referring because i'm interested? Thanks

@@MrLeoMalmsteen Does it needs any music theory prerequisite before digging the Improvisation Masterclass ? I asked Martin on facebook but I guess he didn't see :)
@@mart8886 Umm. I think that you only need the very basics. The material is oriented primary to the fretboard visualization based on chord shapes, triads and 7th triads. Then Martin lead you to apply that to the Modes of the Mayor scale. So I think you'll need to understand what are the modes too, but you can "adjust" the learning process to your actual knowledge. Sorry for my English.
@@MrLeoMalmsteen no problem thanks
This is so generous of you to offer this free tutorial (but rest assured i will be donating 👍). Still Got, with uou and Andy Timmons, is one of my all time favourites of your sessions. The two of you complement one another so well - and the duetting towards the end is just superb. Thanks for all give to the guitar community.
"all *you* give...'
The title didn't lie: those licks ARE killer.
yes yes yes yes yes on the intervallic structures vs tab/notes. Super helpful thank you so much Martin
This was awesome! I really like how you break down each section.. it's refreshing hearing someone talk about the theory behind their licks, not just showing you how to play them.
Martin, congratulations! You are an amazing musician but also a great teacher. I hope you keep uploading these kind of videos! You inspire many of us to keep practicing the guitar. Cheers.
This was great!!! Mr. Miller you are a fantastic teacher. Please do more lessons like this. I love how you go over how each lick relates to the harmonies playing under it. I got a chance to meet Andy Timmons, and one of the things I told him was how amazing I thought your guys’ cover of Still Got the Blues was! Every person in the room that day made Gary Moore proud, and this wonderful lesson that you created for us from that day only adds to the magic. Thanks again and stay safe!
Thanks Martin! I'm a huge fan of your music and the amazing ensemble of musicians you've gathered for the studio sessions, what an awesome idea, so entertaining. Thanks again!
The information you offer in this lesson is very valuable, thank you, Martin!
Outstanding playing Martin and some really good explanation of the harmonic context. This is so much more valuable than just demonstrating licks without the explanation why they sound the way they sound! Thx Martin!! Awesome tutorial.
What an awesome player and a gentleman to give us such an invaluable insight. Great licks
This was always one of my favorite songs. I was stoked when the band covered it. Even more stoked with this lesson. Thank you
That Andy Timmins sessions is still one of my most favourite. I always revisit that little accented run he does just near the end of the intro to Electric Gypsy.
Thanks Martin, love the content as always.
There's a great video on RUclips of Andy teaching that lick. If you search "slippery gypsy lick" you'll find it!
I wish this was uploaded sooner. I just finish learning your solo in still got the blues. Very satisfied with the result.
Love your playing, love the band! You guys are so polished! Thanks for the music, your videos are always on my playlist!
Thanks so much for this great lesson! I am really grateful for the intervallic and harmonic analysis. besides it just being great music! Thanks again and please keep these analysis lessons coming!

What an amazing teacher!
Excelente vídeo. Gracias por ello.
Great stuff Martin! I know people that think (and teach) in terms of notes, fretboard positions, and intervallic values, and the last one (which you use) makes so much more sense. Whether you're talking blues players or classical composers, it seems like the right info to have in your head.
Great licks and lesson Martin, thank you!!! Stay safe 💙🤘🏻
