Depending on how you interpret the story all of these dimensions are fictional worlds created by Ikuko, so the real world would technically be the highest.
This interpretation makes no sense because we see Sayo reaching a realm between the human and witch realms and he claims that he is in a higher plane.
Ryukishi confirms that Bernkastel was born from Rika's negative memories during those 100 years in the loop, why would Ryukishi tell us that a fictional character was born from Rika's negative memories?
In the Hotarubi prequel we learn that the whole story of Hotarubi is set in a kakera and that it serves as a playground between Bernkastel and Lambdadelta, Hotarubi is a fiction within a fiction I guess?
In addition it is confirmed that Umineko and Higurashi take place in the same universe and it is clear that the meta world exists in Higurashi and the "real world" exists in different versions in the kakera of the meta world
@@melancolie4947 That's only assuming you consider everything that happens within the stories of Umineko and Higurashi to not be a story by Ikuko. They very well could be. It was intentionally made so that the meta world would be non-canon.
@@spacebar2323 I know that Umineko's story is designed to make it seem like the meta-world may or may not exist, but if you know the larger universe of the 07th Expansion, it is clear that the meta-world exists.
Ikuko is not related to Higurashi and the existence of the meta-world in Higurashi is undeniable, the existence of the meta-world in Trianthology is also undeniable, the existence of the meta-world in Hotarubi is also undeniable.
In some of the additional arcs we see witches and the meta-world when no humans are present, why would we be shown things that don't exist when no "real" characters are present?
I can show you an interview where Ryukishi explains Featherine's background and he tells us that she was a pawn on a game board before she became what she is now, why is Ryukishi talking about a game board if the meta-world does not exist?
In Memoirs of Lambdadelta we are explicitly told that the world is like a hierarchy, at the bottom are the human beings who have no strength and are tossed about by fate but have stable ground at their feet, at the top are the gods and creators free of all restrictions and in the middle are the witches who can create fate and play with it.

I think there probably is at least one more layer if you try connecting Ciconia to Umineko... but i guess is something that will be revealed (or not) in the next phases

If we were to include the whole WTC verse, I wonder where to put Higurashi and Ciconia, which are their own pools of fragments within the vast sea of fragments, and would probably be contained as stories in the city of books.
I feel that Higurashi is in the same plane as Umineko, and Ciconia is the *final* layer superior to both of them. Or maybe not but thinking about it is an exelent mental workout i guess XD
@@tommasotopa7395 it’s not. It was stated by bern that beato’s fragment was smaller then most of the fragments in the sea. Hanyu’s fragment should be way larger. And think about it, beato’s only covered like 1-2 days on the gameboard. While the higurashi fragement covered years worth of days on the fragment.
@@catzlaflame4518 when i say umineko i mean it in its entirety. I think that higurashi, inside and outside hinamizawa, and umineko, inside and outside rokkenjima, are both so different but at the same time so similar

I think the chapel isn't completly its own layer, a better description would be like something penetrating the layers bellow. Basically a layer made out of a patchwork of the layers bellow.

Nah I don't go along with everything. I try to explain why. Every game of Beato makes a new fragment. Therefore there is a sea of fragments which is her own. She can travel between her own fragments and look at them when sitting in purgatorio, pulling out the fragment's respective chess board. Bern has no own catbox, she is present in Beato's. That is exactly what Lambda plotted since she wanted Bern to be trapped in it forever to stay near her. Beato's Catbox is more of an own sea of fragments, containing all fragments of her game and purgatorio. The chapel/court of illusions are part of the respective fragment as well as mentioned in EP5, when it was there debated "who controlls this fragment?". I am not sure if the golden land is a universal place or if each fragment has it's own. However there are many hints it is a universal place like purgatorio, although entered via a fragment/game as in EP 8. Heaven isn't high at all since Eiserne und Will are creations of the game board or even a game master and are employed by the human side. In EP 8 they are even called residents of the golden land. The game board and the catbox set the rules and are empowered and connected to Beatrice's endless magic, her compandium which Lambda stated to be perfect, certain, powerful and proper. This grants the powers of the fantasy beings created by Mariage Sorciere, which must include Eiserne and Will. If they were not creations of Beatrice or her game board, the decalogue had no effect since the endless magic (endless 9) of the game board protects the games and gamemaster from outside forces and influences going against their rules. You can't force the decalogue on the game when it is not designed to go along with it. It wouldn't reach the level of truth in sense of the catbox (red truths can only be made about facts of the basics from the game board and layout of each game). The power of Beato's compendium/her catbox is likely the power of endless 9. Something even Featherine couldn't overcome as long as she went against the rules of the cat box. I think this is also what Virgilia meant when she stated Beato wields a power so great she can't comprehend and make full use of it.
I'd like to call her catbox an own sea of fragments and the game board a part of it which holds the very basic layouts, elements and rules for every game. The game board is the factory creating the fragments filling the catbox, each game is a fragment. The game board grants a fundament for each game which grows by the elements added by the players/game master within the set frame. And Beato's catbox was honored a to be a part of other game systems inside Featherine's library. The library therefore a sea containing seas if fragments. And Featherine may be the avatar of Ryukshi07 himself 😋

Good effort, i like it, but there i spot quite a few mishaps. Try develop differences of the Witch's Domain and the so called "Human" Domain.
Heaven is actually in the Witch's Domain which is only higher than the "Human" Domain. And many more

I guess Hinamizawa is either part of Bern's catbox or just the layer above it. My theory is that the Library is a database connected to Seshet in Ciconia, although all of Ciconia is itself a simulation of events that already transpired leading up to the factory world so it's unknown which library would be the "real" one.
Hinamizawa is not in Bernkastel's catbox, Bernkastel started to exist long after the events of Higurashi because she was born from Rika's negative memories.
Hinamizawa is in Hanyuu's catbox.
I was going to tell you that how does this fit in with the worlds of the other works of 07 Expansion, but considering that you have done more worldbuilding than Ryukishi07 in his entire career (not at all being lazy pretending to create a universe), I'll let you pass .
