I've been driving 40 years, firstly in Pennsylvania for 3 years, then I moved to England. I've always preferred manuals, you aren't really feeling the car,& driving it properly in automatics! I'm glad the vast majority of Europeans still learn to drive & take their tests in manuals,it makes you a better, more in touch driver, there's no doubt about that! So there will still be plenty of manuals here to choose from, until FORCED EVs🙄🙄 And even after that, still plenty of used manuals here! 😁😁
In 5 years when your moms Tesla is faster than a 2023 Corvette, speed and acceleration wont matter and cars will be all about the driving experience, and manual transmissions are a great experience.
Didn't even realize they're in a Bullitt in the older video. I have mine as my daily, but I'm surprised they actually got 4 people in it, it's TIGHT in the back.
my first experience with a stick shift car was bad. it was a v6 Mitsubishi. 5 speed. used. apparently 1st gear never went to 1st, it was going to 3rd. something got bent. and after stalling it a bunch, sold it, fixed my life, bought a hybrid, never drove a stick again
We have faith in you. Mastering manual transmission will actually make you want to go out to your car and drive it. Automatics just feel like a chore to drive. No fun at all unless it's something equivalent to a Porsche 911
I love the idea of a manual transmission. However, having owned a VW Golf with a five-speed for four years, I cannot justify the strain on my right foot having to shift over 100 times each way to and from work. While I still may manual swap my 1999 Lexus, I keep wondering if I will truly regret it.
the machines are way too complicated, not just stick shift but even regular cars, and we are way too simple. no human being can possibly be a good driver. the amount of injury, death, debt, pollution, habitat loss, etc... for some minor convenience is nowhere near worth it. some people think driving is fun. i cannot even begin to understand how anyone can possibly feel that way. motor vehicles / driving is a vile abomination the world would be so much better off without @@tanmanrico
@@eatpigsnot Older cars were simpler, and better for it. People nowadays are too distracted. If they would just drive and not be glued to their dumb phones, there would be less accidents. At least they wouldn't sit at green lights for way too long... I'm a car enthusiast. There's not many of us out here. But when you care about and enjoy cars and driving, you drive safer and more aware of your surroundings. At least I do. With freedom comes responsibility. How do you personally get around without cars? Public transportation isn't readily available in many parts of the US, and where I'm from, you need a car. You might not like cars. yeah, public transportation in North America is abysmal. i am not a car enthusiast but i get the feeling most people learn merely to steer, not actually drive. @@tanmanrico

People are realizing these next few years are their last chance to get a new manual transmission car
Buy used
@@jogmas12 That's how we got less manual cars in the first place
@@mistamaog well when EV’s become ubiquitous that is all that we gonna have as far as used cars with manual transmissions, if that
@@jogmas12 You're right, that's why there's a sudden surge of manual buyers because it's their last chance, and those used ones might not be so cheap
Sad a.f.
As a hardcore manual enthusiast, this episode warms my heart. Always good to see pretty ladies handling a stick.
SAVE THE MANUALS!!

Current Teslas are already faster than Corvettes
@@mistamaog Moms aren't buying $150,000 plaids
@@mistamaog they're also boring and have no range
I really enjoyed this segment! Manual Transmissions could also be considered theft deterrent!
We all know she stalled that car at 5 times
Also since most thiefs can't drive stick shift, its a win they won't be able steal it.😊

Three woman are interested. One dude is well....

Weren't well-taught, and had bad equipment.
why? because criminals cant drive manual, so means their cars are less prone to being stolen 🤣
Yep I remember seeing up on the news a case, where a dude got his car broken in to but the thief was unable to drive it because it was manual.
Ah Ford…the preferred brand of the Globalists.
Not everybody can do it
