The whole Groff family's story and character development is my favourite. They all deserve good things, them all sitting down on the couch together starting to heal was the best ending

I totally agree. Besides the characters that didn't carry over to the forth season, I was so happy with where Adam and all the others landed, with where they were at that point, or where they could end up being.

i’ve never related to a character more than what i do with adam. his arc was so incredible to watch over the course of the show and to have seemingly neurodivergent characters on the show without it being a whole plot point was also a nice touch. god i’m gonna miss watching new scenes of adam :(

went back to season 1 after watching s4 and the contrast with Adam and Mr Groff's characters are so striking. I cant believe I ended up rooting for both of them. I think the ending of their story is my favorite among the characters

Adam needs to be protected at all costs. I know it's a fictional character but I love him so much. He made me cry a few times. I feel so deeply with him. He made the most beautiful progress in any television show ever written. What a beautifully written and incredibly performed character!

10:28 will always make me smile. Any time any one stands up and corrects someone when they ignore or try and erase bisexuals is incredible. And I’m so glad we’re getting to see it more often

Now this is a proper tribute for the most interesting character arc of the whole show. Adam was messed up because he came from a broken family with a toxic masculinity environment, but heyy he's evolving. He knew he has a flaws but he's getting better and better on how he saw things and on his relationship with Mr. Groff. Adam doesn't deserves Eric, he deserves the world. He was my favorite character from start to finish, even is until now. In fact Adam is the heart of the final season although he wasn't related to any particular other characters because I dare to say that any of Cavendish things was just a forced woke-filler-nonsense.

I switched off episode 2, couldn’t take the loss of old characters and annoying new school. But I may watch again just to see Adams storyline as I had a big soft spot for him. ❤

In my head, the date went very well and they married a couple of years later. The sister shows up, the Moordale clique, Mr. Hendricks sings - and of course, pastor Effiong officiates the whole thing ;-)

Tears, many tears - When my dad was still here, he and I were like Adam and Mr. Groff for a while until one day he took an interest and our relationship was transformed. We had a few good years hanging out and smiling until the big C got home. I love this writing.

I love the show and series from beginning to end. I do feel that Adam's internalized homophobia and expression of his bisexuality wasn't as fully explored as it could be. But he wasn't a main character so perhaps that is expected. The series finale made me very happy. Perhaps that is good enough...

I’m surprised Adam wasn’t instantly expelled for his violent, homophobic and indecent actions. But you gotta feel sorry for the poor lad and he certainly has matured.
Plus those driving lessons he had with his father reminds me of my driving lessons.

Will forever hate the Adam and Eric realtionship, forcing a bully and his victim together and insinuating the victim liked him all along makes me SICK.
HOWEVER, i loved Adam's growth over the 4 seasons, just wish they didnt do that whole stupid relationship
