How to fit Ford Cmax Towbar fitting

Hi - thanks for the video. How did you get those nuts inside the chassis?

They go in from the side, you should be able to see existing holes that line up with the metal bars. The metal bars that slide into the chassis should have nuts welded on

@@helpinghands1406 Yeah. Doesn't look like neither mine or yours do have nuts welded on though!

@@cookieuk1278 if you look at about 4min 50sec you can see the welded nut on the end of the arm, the nearest to the rear is a normal nut and you can get a spanner in.

@@helpinghands1406 thanks man. Yes. Seen it. Tried some M12 X 1.75 bolts. But very tight. Is it fine thread?

it was a pulled from a salvage car so not sure, but they all follow a similar fitting process
