This is still my most favourite Sims game. You can drive around, you can get new vehicles, there are actual objectives you have to take care of instead of just playing life (and even then this is completely optional, you can just play life, too) You can move in with another family and burn everything down, then move away. One time I rebuilt the ENTIRE TOWN. I made Mama's house into a research lab with nuclear waste and meat eating plants. You can actually play coop if you have a second memory card and a save file on it. I used to take my Memory Card to a friend just so our Sims could hang out. The possibilities are on such a big spectrum, it's insane. This felt more next-gen than Sims 2 did at the time to me and I'd take it over Sims 4 any day.
Yesss I have sims 2 and bustin out and although the characters look better everything else is better on bustin out. Sims 2 is funny af though they CANNOT dance and it's hilarious.

This has to be my favorite sims since it has a kind of story mode. Then it is followed by Urbz which was great with friends,but also solo...Tho Urbz was too short and small of a world with an annoying way to upgrade skills.
Erik I got Urbz for Xbox a few days ago and quite frankly, I prefer the GBA version a lot more. There's a story beyond just having to be liked my a rep group and the frame rate doesn't dip to 4 when loading areas.

Oh god, this game, I remember looking through out the internet on how to improve skills faster and it said that training at mum's house speeds up skills a lil bit faster... I spent 3 Sims weeks with mum's just to get skills maxed out

@@vir3098 Sims Medieval is like this. You get the option of playing without objectives if you complete enough of them, but you could always go back to playing the objectives if you got bored. Only downside is that Sim Medieval is a bitch to mod.
I still have my copy of Urbz for the GameCube, as well as a copy of The Sims for both the GameCube and the ps2. Only really ever replay The Urbz though, does take up a lot of space..

Actually the organization of the game nowadays is better. Since 2001 there was a LOT of Sims games released & were sold for $60 each one of them. For example, if u wanted a pet, u needed it to buy "the Sims pets". I still remember the price for each one of them because i had 3 & i wanted all of them but obviously I wasn't rich. In conclusion, the organization of the game NOW, IS SO MUCH BETTER. They just need to finally hear Simmers & add these details to the game & it will be perfect.

I loved this game growing up, it was one of those games that I played non stop and then just totally forgot about. As soon as I saw Kevin playing it I jumped straight on to eBay to buy my own copy, waited for it to arrive, only for it to be a faulty disc! I remember being really young and playing this on my older brother's game. There was one time where he let me play it without him. I remember turning the game, getting on the main menu, and having no idea what anything said. I was still too young to read and he was not helping me at all. When I used to play the original Sims, there would always be this one house that had a defective stove. It would always catch on fire and kill almost, if not everyone.
What if the sound of a fire became Ring of Fire, no more crackling or popping fireplaces, you light a fire and all you hear from it is "And the flames went higher, and it burns burns burns, the ring of fire" I'd install a fireplace in every room of my house, and have candles burning everywhere. I'd also take up smoking so when I smoke I can hear a soft singing Johnny Cash singing to me from the embers of my cig.

When I used to play the original Sims, there would always be this one house that had a defective stove. It would always catch on fire and kill almost, if not everyone.

Bustin' Out is my favourite Sims! It has a great mix of freedom and a storyline which you must folloe to progress. I loved it.

What if the sound of a fire became Ring of Fire, no more crackling or popping fireplaces, you light a fire and all you hear from it is "And the flames went higher, and it burns burns burns, the ring of fire" I'd install a fireplace in every room of my house, and have candles burning everywhere. I'd also take up smoking so when I smoke I can hear a soft singing Johnny Cash singing to me from the embers of my cig.
