lol u can tell the little boy was enchanted by her looks. when I was his age I was a sucker for pretty girls in my class. if I was his dad or mom id tell him to keep his eyes on the table.
they both missed many chances....but its ok they are just 6 and 7 year old and playing on time control....important thing is they were enjoying the chess....
Most charming game of chess I've ever seen. Boy should be credited for soldiering on after losing his queen. And yes, his remark at the end to the girl was pure class.
This is very impressive from both kids!! If you haven't spent time teaching chess to kids, you wouldn't appreciate how remarkable this is. The girl was having fun and hardly paying attention while executing decent tactics that some adult casual players would miss. And to think the boy continued to press and didn't cry after placing his queen en prise and losing it? Mature! By comparison, my five year old son who I like to think is pretty smart started reading before turning three, now takes his school lessons with second graders (many are at least two years older than him) because of how advanced he is, knows 1 through 12 multiplication tables, knows the names, capitals, and flags of over 120 countries by heart, plays chess, and is starting to enjoy tactical puzzles. But even he isn't close to these kids' level in blitz. Please give these kids big credit. I bet they do well in school too. Well done by their teachers. Any advice for me to help him improve faster?
@@winddancer4776 plus it doesnt matter to me if their slightly pushed to do something. Sometimes they dont want to do something until u get them to try it a few times. Having him play chess isnt really depriving him of a childhood. Like is he claiming child abuse or something?
She is very charming. I really enjoyed watching this game because they are funny and spontaneous. I could not imagine that such small children are capable of playing so well, despite the mistakes.
So far I counted three botez gambits, two from girl (from fork and free queen since pin is lifted) and one from boy which was played. The boy's gambit was accepted while the other two botez gambits from the girl are declined.
I kinda agree with the initial statement, but I dont think I've ever beaten an adult ever, only took a draw once. But yeah those kids who know 30 moves of theory in the dragon are scary
8:03 the lil boy could have taken the black queen, and at 7:45 instead of moving the took to c8 moving the rook to e8 would be a better move because ur threatening to take the pawn with ur rook and when he captures it back with the white rook the queen should take it back doing a check and when the king moves queen can take the rook, or if the white rook blocks the queen the black queen should go to e1 so next move the queen can take the knight
