Bravo Mr. violinist! You are incredible. At first, I thought it was your wonderful-sounding violin but then realize it is your bowing technique. This is a piano piece w/ orchestra but you made a very convincing case for it sounded great on violin/piano too.

Let me be the first to say how much I enjoyed this. I fell in love with classical music as a child. My father played classical records for us and one was Rachmaninoffs Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. I played it over and over. My love spilled over to my daughter who was a serious violinist studying from the age of 3! (she just graduated from Columbia University in NYC and is applying to medschool, but still plays) I add that to say that I can deeply appreciate what you pulled off here! BRAVO!

Carlos Avila had a wonderful concert with pianist Victor Asuncion in Chicago presented by the Filam Music Foundation on March 13, 2019. Schubert and Gershwin would have been so proud of them as well.
